        Don't worry,

THis is just fake advertising, There probably is a quantity of one and you'd never get it.

Same as this DEAL where Few products were advertised at unbelievable prices, because all who believed in the deal and waited got DUPED !!!!

  • Wow, great price on the 980ti!

EDIT: Small point though, on the voting page it looks like the Twin Turbo OC version of the GTX 970, not the G1 gaming version as mentioned in this post.

    • +1

on the voting page it looks like the Twin Turbo OC version of the GTX 970, not the G1 gaming version as mentioned in this post.

even when you click on it too

rep please clarify as it'll affect the votes surely

    • Since rep has not clarified, the deal description has been updated to "Gigabyte GeForce GTX970 Twin Turbo OC 4GB" as shown on the website.

      • maybe there's hope that the website is the one that needs correction..

a simple reply from the rep would be ideal.. usually they do in the past :/

      • Since rep has not clarified,

the Quantities, Perhaps the Deal should be marked extremely LOW or NO quantities.

Major Disappointment last time, waste of everyone's time.

        Thanks, it worked from mobile.
Not sure why 'Like' button was not displayed on desktop site.

  • +5

shouldn't the crossed out figures be the prices you are selling it for at the moment, not the rrp or higher prices
    eg
Current price you are selling it for is $474..
    Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD SATA MZ-75E1T0BW
    SKU: MZ-75E1T0BW $474.00 RRP $699.00

    • it should be.. but it won't be :/

  • +2

It's only voting not even selling anything right?

Cant buy it now? May not even be available? Should this not be in the forum?

    • read OP: boxing day.

  • +9

    I agree
this is not a deal post
this should be in the forums
this is almost like a competition
    - when the deal is decided on - then it is a post

don't get me wrong - I like SE… just this is not a deal!

    • +2

      Agreed. Deal not yet available.

  • +4

    Hey REP,
Will this be like your TRIFECTA DEAL that was really a no deal because no one could get because the price didn't change and when it did it was already out of stock,

Great work getting votes up by promising fake deals, they don't mean anything till you have quantities next to them ????

    • +4

A tease of a bargain (via free advertising) isn't a bargain.

Edit: I suspect SE hired a marketing dude who's coming up with this baloney to generate fuss and move stock.

  • Overview for Lenovo M53 Tiny Desktop 10DCA00GAU Pentium J2900 4GB 500GB is written in Danish. Why?

  • This isn't a deal yet - should be in a forum not in deals section. Especially as there are no specs on the top 2 that are definite.
    Dodgy

    • Agree it shouldn't be in the deals section, but they're probably paying ozbargain for this so it won't disappear. For specs you can click through on the page to see them.

Perhaps positive votes should also require comments because the company seems to have a disproportionate number of votes on the whiff of products but never actually delivering on them.

  • +1 vote for HP G8 G1610T Microserver & Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse

  • +1

Hey I just bought a HP gen 8 micro server for 349 bucks from you and then found this thread saying that you will be probably dropping the price by 100 bucks. I tried calling to cancel but no one is answering your phone and your help desk says its a 24-48 hour response time.

  • +1

Why do companies use facebook to do this kind of stuff? Really frustrating.
I hate facebook and don't want anything to do with them.
Does that mean I can't vote for the HP G8?

    • +1

It's not the Federal election, you don't have to vote if you don't want to…

      • +1

I want to vote… just not enough to actually sign up to Facebook who will invariably violate my privacy in every way possible and more.

        • You mean you don't have a fake facebook account for crap like this..

  • Vote for Intel Core i7-6700K CPU - $490. Really want one one of those G1 980ti, what are stock levels like op?

The price of the 980 ti is back up to $1049, has stock run out?

    • +1

I have been check this all day and haven't seen it for the price the rep advertised.
      Rep? @shoppingexpress - Where's the deal???

  • Great. Thanks Shoppingexpress. I was waiting for hours to buy the 980TI 6gb, and all of a sudden you changed it onyour website to the 4gb one….

    • +1

I thought that as well untill i realised i was on the 27th December sale page which is selling the gigabyte gaming 980. It looks like they changed some of the advertising leading to tomorrow's sale instead of today's.

Anyway i had added the 980 ti to my basket right at 8pm and it told me they had 0 stock as i was going through. So much to having 15 available. Very disappointed. Curious to see if anyone here was able to get a 980 ti.

      • I did the same thing. It was supposed to be live at 8 and nothing! What gives?
        No product = no deal.

        • The 980ti 6GB was one of the "guaranteed" deals they advertised way before the sale, then it appears they changed it on the 8pm sale page hours before it starts to the 4gb model

        • @jso1980:
The 980 ti was still on the sale page for the 8pm 26th December slot. The price did not change on the product page until 8:07pm which was too late as it was labeled as out of stock by then. But exactly at 8pm i had added the 980 ti to my basket and it went through at its sale price $899 but i could not checkout as it kept saying it had 0 stock. I think they did not have the 15 they claimed they had instock or all 15 were taken in the first 30 seconds.

Their might be some confusion as they began to advertise the 27th december sale page which has the 4gb 980 at 8pm.

Either way i am disappointed in shopping express and now thinking of waiting for pascal.

        • @LexLuthor360:

For me, I was on the 8pm-midnight page on the 26th from about 2pm onwards, I was on the page until about 5pm, which then changed
the model on the page from the 6gb model to the 4gb model. Not sure if it changed after that because I closed the page.

  • why are there never any 500 gb deal . 240-256 are too small and 1tb are to big / cost too much
