True. And given away all your details, for something you may not have needed in the first place.

      • +1

Are Sony really going to give out 5,000 x $25 vouchers?

        • +1

They probably would. Note that the cost price of products are much lower. Sale price at redemption or profit margins are inflated. Also, it's tax deductible to the company, at the inflated price of redemption.

        • +1

          @abh_gup:
None of this matters now, since the voucher codes have probably been guessed and already used, as per the removed Hack Post!

        • @nismo:

Hack codes do work… Why bother doing a survey when you can just guess/predict the higher $30 off voucher code. I know it works as I received my item.

        • @Mr Rort:
I saw this post before I saw the $30 er um method.

      • why would you use genuine details?
i just spent 5 mins of my sunday morning, putting false info in the survey and scored 7 vouchers, not sure what will happen next..

  • Is there a shipping fee?

    • No.

  • Does anyone have a code they're not using yet? I'd like to use one now before I go on holiday (chest mount for Sony action cam).
When I get my code, I would be happy to send my code back, plus you get a longer time to use it.

  • Can you stack this offer with a gift card code?

    • +1

yes, there is option to use a gift card as well (after applying the voucher)

  • Maybe I'll get to use this voucher……standing by.

  • I didn't create an account. I just used the link OP posted via the image.

Hope voucher comes and there's no record except your email when you enter survey

  • +1

Did anyone read the instructions? This is for valid users only. If you go on to the mySony website, you actually need to register your Sony product to join. I think there will be much disappointment for many ozbargainers.

    • -2

OzBargainers can be pretty mindless sometimes. They see the word ‘free’ and ‘$25’ and theyll vote positive instantly regardless of the products being full RRP and not actually free because you need to have a registered Sony product. Ironic this has 400+ votes and most people gave away personal information for free and arent actually getting the voucher.

    • +1

not a sony customer, just went though guest checkout with the coupon!

  • +1

This might be a stupid question, but can I use this for a playstation plus subscription?

    • no.

  • +5

has anyone received the email yet?

  • +7

I trust everyone here to be honest and declare in the Occupation box as "Professional" when filling out the form

  • "We currently experiencing an unusually high number of visitors on our website, please come back later to buy this product."

update on the sony $30 hack - received my goods 2 days after ordering..winning

    • How did they ship it? Auspost or courier?

      • DHL courier..super efficient

        • Super efficient in delivery. Got mine in 2 days by DHL courier. Downside, online store prices 66% more. In-ear headphone mdras200b $24 in HN, Sony online store $39.95.

        • @kiamsup:
Yeh cant complain for $9.95 headphones

    • +2

I have received goods with the hack as well. I don't know how Sony makes money when they send a handheld AM/FM radio in a box 8 times it's size.

  • no voucher, opened new account registered product, did the survey nothing at all

    • I am still waiting for my $25 voucher, when did you receive it?

      • +1

        Used a $30 one

  • Has anyone got their voucher yet?

    • I haven't yet but its 7 business days from survey completion, so I would likely only get it next week.

    • Just got mine :)

    • Mine came at 5:30pm today

  • +2

Just got mine and purchased 2 x 8gb micro sd cards "value" $29.90 - total cost $4.90

  • Our old account was gone so we had to sign up again. Hope it works for us!

  • Coupon just arrived in my email!

  • +1

me too. no voucher, opened new account registered product, did the survey nothing at all.

  • Can someone please copy the email they are sending them from and post it here. My spam filter is pretty strict…

  • "To redeem your eCoupon, sign in to your MySony account below, add as many items to your shopping cart as you like and enter your unique eCoupon during the checkout process. eCoupon requires a minimum spend of $25.01 to be redeemed. Please note that this offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer. Further terms and conditions apply."

  • Received mine today. As trevorf above me has just noted it requires a minimum spend of $25.01. So trying to purchase a 16gb microsd for $19 and expecting it to be free didn't work.. Doh!

  • got mine just now, will probably go for the 16gb microsd and 8gb usb for $5 after coupon, unless there's a better option?

edit: nope, 8gb usb is out of stock, any other cheap items i can pad my order with?

edit: got 2x 8gb microsd for $5… and yep, i have no use for them XD

    • Where are the micro sd's for $5?

      • +3

        they're $15 each, x2 makes $30, minus the $25 voucher is $5!

  • Is there anything between $25 to $30? I couldn't find any other than the 2 remote commanders.

  • received and used, thanks again OP

  • Got my coupon too!

  • I got my code today and I ended up buying a new alarm clock! Only cost $14 and free shipping. Not bad, not bad at all. I might give as a gift for a Birthday or Christmas if I don't use it myself.

    • +1

Nice. It didn't kick up a fuss about the $25.01 minimum spend?

      • +3

why would it? clock was $39

        • +1

Well that makes sense then… brain fade had me thinking the original price was $14.

        • @Thrift: No. $39 original price - $25 discount = $14 ;)

  • +1

Got the email but I saw post about $30 random code, so of course better to use that…

  • -1

    cant stack codes..dangit

  • +1

Has a minimum spend now, here's my code if anyone wants it:
    OR8874RE

    • +1

looks like someone nabbed it without replying.

    • Oh the minimum spend wasn't there before? Damn, too slow.
My code is FJ3657SI if anyone wants it.

I'm not using it because if I'm spending money on something I wasn't already going to buy then there's no savings.

      • Someone got that too. I really want to get a the float attachment for my action camera.

  • Can somebody send me with a pm their code if they don't need it? I want to get the float attachment that costs 29$ (and the 30$ voucher doesnt work)

    • +1

      pm sent… merry xmas :-)

      • +1

        Thanks!

      • Hi

Can I please have one too? About to order something…

        • Mrs is expecting one … if it arrives and she doesn't use it will post it on here.

        • @xywolap:

Thought it was the $30 code that was multiple use that you had

        • @first in line:
No.. we both did the survey for the $25 one.

      • May I have one? Merry late Xmas. :))

        • +1

Her coupon did not eventuate.. sorry.

        • +1

        • 10$ I think.

I might get a phone case also.

  • Received my voucher today also!

  • Can I have one please? Thanks

    • +3

Yes. Yes you can. The OP gives instructions on how to obtain one :)
