    Can they stack?
    Minimum spend?

    • can only use 1 coupon at a time. you can use it on a different order if you want

    • I received my voucher the other day. There is a minimum spend. This is from the email Sony sent me.

"To redeem your eCoupon, sign in to your MySony account below, add as many items to your shopping cart as you like and enter your unique eCoupon during the checkout process. eCoupon requires a minimum spend of $25.01 to be redeemed."

      • I'm not sure what to buy. I might get the passive 3D glasses because there isn't anything else I need or want. Does anyone know if those 3D glasses are compatible with Google cardboard?

        • *are compatible with Google cardboard Apps.

        • I found out that these 3D glasses aren't compatible so I didn't order it.

$25 off their already inflated prices (when it comes to things like Televisions). Should be getting more than $25 off in the first place.

    • Exactly. The Sony store almost always sells RRP.

      • +4

You cant get the accessories and the alarm clock I listed above for cheaper if you use the voucher.

      • +4

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't most manufacturers charge RRP via their online stores/physical stores?

        • -5

Yes, and this is OzBargain where bargains are posted. $25 off the RRP of an expensive electronic device is nothing of value.

        • +5

@Orpheus: then don't buy the expensive electronic devices with the voucher…? I got a genuine Sony remote and carry bag for my A6000 for $4 and $9 shipped respectively using vouchers previously. If that's not a good deal, then I don't know what is.

        • @Orpheus:
hollykryten stated their prices were inflated. Well, surely this was obvious to all? I was just pointing out this is common practice for all manufacturers.

There are bargains to be had, even after $25 off the RRP. The item may not suit you, but doesn't mean it won't be a bargain for someone else.

    • +39

It's a free $25 to use how you wish! If you don't like their products or their prices, then simply don't waste your time on this!

  • +2

Not sure how this works….I have completed the survey…it says there is a $25 voucher for me and i need to login to the account….when i tried to register, it asks for a product serial number? confused..

    • +4

Wonder if the $25 voucher deal is only for those who already have a Sony online account and as such have to already own a Sony product to be able to create the account. Nice way to make sure that the person receiving the voucher is already a previous Sony customer.

      • I have a sony account, so probably. Sould I put that in the deal?

      • it won't let me use my 5 year old MuTeKi system to register (Sorry. That model name is invalid)

        • I couldn't use my 3 year old DSC-H100 but I could use the BDP-S1200 that's the same age (if not older). Go figure.

      • -1

        This!!!

Exactly what I've deduced after completing the survey. They didn't get my email address so how will they send me anything? I go to create a MySony account and I need to register a Sony product which I dont have… bah humbug!!!!

        • +2

Pretty sure I filled in my e-mail address on the first page of the survey

        • +1

@kerfuffle: Cant remember doing this! Damn easy autofill…

      • The serial number is optional. You can select any product while registering, it doesn't actually check that you purchased it.

Could these cards be used on the PSN store?

  • +1

After completing the survey, when do you get the e-voucher?

  • Apparently they don't accept Playstations as registerable products when you try and make an account, so I suppose I'm out.

This bag is really good for A6000 users Soft Carrying Case, I bought mine a while ago for $39 -$25 with a previous voucher. They changed the price to $49 now though..

      • Is this a leather case? Looks good.

        • Not a leather case, but is really well made and convenient. I bought it for $39 (-$30 Sony gift card from HN when I bought the A6000). Good for 1 extra lens and accessories.

    • +1

in 7 days all will be sold out lol

    • +2

      $15 for a freaking lens cap?! o_O

  • hmmmm, if I get this $25, I can use it for the headphone I am gonna buy :)

  • Was interested in purchasing some DVDR media, problem is its $25 more at Sony.com.au than JB Hifi price which sells for $19.90, sony website price $44.95. So ill pass.

  • Sorry I must be blind but where is the survey link? The link OP posted has no where further to go…

Edit: nvm it was Chrome. IE displayed the page OK

  • I need a new sim card holder for xperia z2, I wish I could order one through the website.

  • -3

    when to receive the voucher?

  • +1

For items that our out of stock, you can still order them and they will ship out once stock is replenished.

I did this with an item last week.

    • Thanks for this tip. I will order some flash drives.

  • +1

Don't forget to check out the Action Cam accessories for those that picked up one from the HN deal.

  • $19 for an OTG cable.. ugh. Who are they, Apple?

  • I have a $30 voucher from when I bought a Sony camera, Can I use both ? The T&C just say about promotional items.

    • +1

Just checked it now. You can only apply 1 promo code at the checkout.

      • Damn. I have this voucher for almost 1 year and never found something that worth it. The prices are always inflated. There are some cheap headphones, but I already have plenty of them.

At least the one from survey does not have a minimum spend. My $30 voucher I do have to buy something worth more than $30.

    • So I actually took one of the codes above and changed the last numbers and hit the $30 voucher. I wonder if theres a $50 or $100 voucher floating around

  • Sweet! Alright, a free 16Gb Sd card for me it is. Thanks for the post.

  • SORRY if this has been asked before, but do we have to necessarily have a MY Sony account to use the voucher we will be emailed?

    • +1

eCoupon applies a $25 discount to the recommended retail price and is available on guest, partner and MySony accounts

Why do I get the feeling I've just done a survey for nothing?

    Call me paranoid.
