I can't seem to find any details on exclusions or dates but it just worked for me on new years day.
From Ratestogo's T&C mentioned on cashrewards:
Cashback will not be paid when used in conjunction with any coupon code.
So don't count on cashback.
Yeah these deals are a bit mixed but my Agoda hotel was $151 and on RatesToGo was $131 plus more cash back!
From my experience, you can't get cashback if you use coupon to book hotels. I lost about $200 because of this reason

I didn't lose that amount but I'm pretty sure I lost some amount as hotels.com was cheaper without the cashback.
Thats what happens when you gamble!
Coupon isn't listed on CashRewards, I certainly wouldn't chance it on the hope of getting the cashback

Cash Rewards site just says "Rewards may not be paid if a coupon code is used that is not listed on this site"

coupons been around all year.
My experience is that despite them being essentially the same company, cheaptickets.com seems to be marginally cheaper on the same hotel when using their 20% off code. It is however necessary to have a credit card that doesn't charge foreign currency conversion fees as it will be charged in USD.

I think the current code for cheap tickets.com is "sparkle" bit it changes every week. Typically it's 20% and emblazoned across their website. Just like ratestogo.

Booked last night with hotelclub. Now this is $165 cheaper. Contacted hotelclub to see if they could price match as they have price match within 24 hours.
Hope hotelclub come back with a favourable response. Let you know how I go …
You might get lucky but I wouldn't hold your breath. I have dealt with the online chat guys on hotelclub many times when in the process of booking to see if they would price match their own sister site (ratestogo). Purpose being to accrue member rewards but they won't do it.
Yeah No luck getting them to price match. Pretty disappointed and I will be very weary using hotelclub again and for that matter ratestogo. This is there response … pretty lame that they have can manipulate their prices between the sites they own.

Great post, used it on a hotel that had the same rates for every booking site I tried. The 20% was a true 20% off the best rate in my case.

Wow i am quite surprised by this!!
For a lot of places i was looking there didn't really seem to be much/if any saving compared to promos elsewhere but i did find one place that was normally $250 per night (or $200 p/n with other promos) but i got it here for $150. Very happy!
