It's people like that who scam others on gumtree (you'd expect ink in your printer if 'as new condition') that give it a bad name. Don't do this.

    • -3

      Gumtree is so shit.
Small scammers and big scammers, but scammers always scammers.
I hate Gumtree. Would never use it.

      • +1

Nah gumtree is a good option for a bargain!

It really depends on what you buy and where you buy it. Refine the search to only look at your local suburb, only visit house locations (make sure you save address on Google Maps with a Pin and you'll be amazed at the stuff you can not only buy, but also items you no longer need can be sold quickly.

        • The one time I tried it I was looking for a portable air-conditioner, the people got paranoid - I dont know, maybe the ice wore off or something, anyway, they kept texting "LOL sure thing officer" and "what task-force did you say you say you were from again?"
To questions about the condition and newness.
So yah… not a great impression.

    • Why not buy the printer, take it out of the box, reseal it and sell it as new.

      Basically the same thing.

I hope someone scams you one day.

    • So you're selling low ink starter cartridges as "As new". Good one scammer.

    • Wow that's low.

  • Last time they sell this price on EOFY. Merry Xmas!

It's not in the title, so it's not a dupe.

No card reader and no Wi-Fi make this less attractive. Good for the price though. Review here: http://www.digitalversus.com/printer/hp-officejet-2620-p1830…

  • cartridge replacement is more expensive than the printer

    1x HP 61 Tri-color Ink Cartridge (~165 pages)

this is a neg for me… no serperate ink colour cartridge

    • So buy a cheap compatible cartridge like the rest of us.

High Yield black - 480 pages, High Yield Colour - 330 pages. Available everywhere, cheap and work well.

    • The fact that you don't personally like something about a product isn't a valid reason for a neg. ( fwiw I didn't neg you.)

Yes, Wireless model available for $15 at The Good Guys…. much better than this deal…

    • thanks electricblues and OP.

      bought another printer.
sick off the cable. can also print from mobile. time to upgrade for $15.

    • That one has no fax or document feeder though.

  • Thank u. Got one now.

  • Bought two of these last time it was on sale. Used it a couple of times and 6 months later the black ink is clogged and won't clear after running 3 cleaning cycles. Junk cartridges but may be useful for bulk auto scanning documents onto your PC.

    • All inkjets are like that.

If you don't print a page weekly the ink on the nozzle dries and the whole thing stuffs up.

I go with laser for this reason.

      • My old Canon is hardly like this. It does block up occasionally but can be self cleaned fine.

        • How much is your old Canon? Are you comparing a $160 printer to a $16?

You can buy 10 of these and slowly use them overtime, beats the $160 printer.

  • I bought this last time. It has problem taking in paper. Makes noise sometimes while taking in paper and half of the time fails to do so.

    • sometimes it could mean the papers were left in the tray for too long and became damp, ie hard to feed,

      • it happens with freshly fed papers too. The noise comes from the rollers I think.

  • Bought one as a scanner, my old 1050 died recently.

For those who are looking, are there any good laser deals as well?

      cheap and nasty HL-1110
$36.xx - not the cheapest ever but no too bad if you need one now. pay a bit more for wireless.

  • Lots still in stock.

  • Scanned and printed with it. Not a bad little unit definitely worth $16.
