    Any deal on chargers for this?

    • +1

      Yes I would like to know this too.

      Mobile site appears to be showing out of stock. Check the full site.

      • Thanks!

  • great price, thanks OP!

  • Edited. My screwup

    Hmm. It says on the web site $13.00. That is about $3.00 cheaper than I can by these from where I work on staff price.

  • Thanks NPH. Just added to my collection :)

  • Ordered one. Mobile site shows out of stock but full site shows availability. Thanks

  • Got last one at Mt Ommaney.

    Another Dick-dud for me.

    Ordered, paid, then got a call from the store; "No stock".

    • Then you can get it from another store - they are obligated because they already took your money

      • They returned the money and lost my business again.

        • You can refuse the refund if you like and request they fulfil their end of the contract - it's the law

        • @yoyomablue: Ive tried that before, but too late, they had already refunded the money, even before I got the call to say no stock. Once refunded, the transaction is null and void.

        • -1

          @systmworks:
          It's irrelevant if they refunded the money. A contract is a contract. A refund does not nullify a transaction.

        • -1

          @yoyomablue: Once again this is not a contract. Invitation to treat. May we all educate ourselves.

        • -1

          @spaghettiman:
          When the money has been taken, Invitation To Treat has been surpassed.

        • -1

          @yoyomablue: An email confirmation is not a contractual acceptance. Dick smith didn't take your money. If you used Paypal etc, they are a third party.

        • -1

          @yoyomablue: In addition, like every other e-commerce store, their terms and conditions state:

          The Site may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right (at our absolute discretion) to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fill any orders that you may have placed based on information on the Site that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.

        • -1

          @spaghettiman:
          Credit cards are a third party
          Bank transfers are a third party
          These are forms of payments, just like PayPal
          Payment taken, contract completed

        • -1

          @spaghettiman: Company terms and conditions do not absolve entities of obligations under Common Law. In fact, in many cases company terms and conditions are utterly worthless attempts at stonewalling ignorant people

        • @yoyomablue: Yes and if you look at your credit card statement, your money was not taken in the first place…

        • -1

          @spaghettiman:
          PayPal money is taken. I've already experienced it. Additionally, the poster who instigated the comment said his money was taken and subsequently refunded. Under the law, one can refuse this & request execution of contract.

        • If they don't have stock they refund …. not much you can you do, they aren't saying they won't honor and they have stock.

        • @garage sale: you can have the option of another store or wait for more stock also. Refunds are not mandatory

        • @yoyomablue: problem is, if they refund you before telling you, the store won't (or say can't) un-refund you.

          You could just buy again, if still available, but they may just refund again.
          Or you can do a phone order with their online sales, but they ship from central warehouses (not local store stock) and charge freight.

          I bought something for $37, click and collect. 3 days later they refund me and then ring to say no stock at my selected store.
          In the meantime the price went up to $39.
          Spoke to their online store via phone, they said they could honour $37 price but there would be $10 shipping.
          Or I could reorder for $39 from a different store. Which I did, saving $8.
          Ironically the item dropped to $15 a week later (after I paid $39). My credit card refunded me $24 so all good in the end - I have the item for net cost $15.

      • Things have gotten interesting. 7 hrs ago I was TOLD my money had been refunded by DS. I believed it and without checking my Paypal acc't, reported here.

        Paypal currently shows no refund, just the payment made to DS. The latest DS email states that product is ready for collection.

        Truecaller phone app shows the call came from the DS store.

        • Huh never heard of Truecaller before, but looks decent (rated 4.4/5 with 50Mil downloads) so will give it a go, thanks.

  • Thanks OP - ordered 3 at my local.

    Although I'd be quite excited, a year back I bought these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__39272__Turnigy_Re…

    Same capacity and are also low self discharge. I bought 90 of them for all of our ikea motion activated lights for drawers and cupboards and everything else in the house and they are fantastic. Not to mention super cheap! $1.12 each!

    • If you are a slow reader, they drop to $1.04 after a minute or two….i'm not kidding :)

  • Aldi has 900mah LSD AAA's for about six bucks (four pack).
