      • Hahaha sorry I meant location

  • makes your liver pale.

  • I get $51.99 in VIC :(

    • Ouch. I get $44.95 in 3131.

  • I can taste them already.

  • That's amazing.

Noticed this is over $50 at Dan Murphys online. If you're near Annandale (NSW), you can get a case for $42 if memory serves me, from David's Cellars (next to Annandale Supabarn).

That store amazes me, so good! It always surprises me that a small independent can have better prices than a large corporation such as Dan Murphys.

      • The owner there is awesome too. Really helpful and friendly.

  • very nice might grab two cartons..hopefully its not used by dated in the next few weeks.

    • +4

The beauty of CPA is thats its fermented in the bottle - it actually is stamped with a best after date

As long as its kept in a cool place with no sunlight it will keep for years

You can also choose to drink it either bright or cloudy - just pour slowly in a chilled glass and leave about 1cm containing the sediment in the bottle - its sort of like drinking two different beers - the former light and crisp, the latter heavy and full of flavour

      • hah didnt know that and its my regular drink.

Just grabbed two cartons for pickup and used cashrewards to bring the net cost down further.

        • Well done - now you have even cheaper, good tasting beers with some bonus knowledge - now you can sound like an expert to your mates!

Try it light in a glass as described above - its great

        • Roll the bottle before opening.

A NSW acquaintance (who really didn't get Beer..) used to say:"[this beer] is made with the Torrens river mud(!)".

        :)

bit to much of a beer snob for coopers …1 bottle is tolerable but anything beyond that is to much. i need my IPA's :) haha

this is way cheap though for what it is

    • Which do you recommend?

      • depends on your taste ….if you want just a good tasting beer you can't go far wrong with Sierra Nevada Pale or 4 Pines Pale. ….for a good IPA Sierra Nevada Torpedo Double IPA, Dundee IPA or if you can find it the 4 Pines small batch Red Rye IPA (the best i've had in a long time)

  • damn back up to $52
