You will not find the lastest AMOLED screen smartwatch with a big name brand for Aus$249 from their very own website.
The other straps version such as leather and metal will cost more, this is more like entry level.
AT this price, it is hard to beat, even for a fire sale Dick Smith.
Does it have a speaker and can be used for making calls ??
android wear cant do that. so any watch with android wear, the answer is no
Except perhaps the Huawei watch.
@psyren89: reading it now but seems just rumour or something in the future? as the operating system is not able to handle (as yet)
@eisniwre: Seems like something that will come in future releases for devices that can support it. As of the latest stable release, calls are not supported.

I think the LG Urbane 2 was getting there with inbuilt LTE support.
But LG cancelled the watch just 6 days after release.

is the deal over, I'm not seeing $249 atm. Also a quick google shows that the watch 2 has a speaker (hopefully activates in future wear updates).
The deal just ended mods.
However at eglobal they have the metal strap version for just $309

I got this on the ebay sale the other day for $235, but imported. Would have paid the $15 for AUD warranty and quicker delivery.
EDIT: Oh that was before the discount so saved $45 still.
