    Online only. Also rubbish range.

    • 100% agree, they dont have that many lego sets online to make this worth worrying about

    • It's not too bad. If your kids like Bionicles, Chima or Ninjago then it's pretty good. There even some Lego Friends, Starwars and Marvel/DC sets in there.

    • Is the in-store lego not discounted?

    • 74 items; No Technic :(

Seems to apply to only part of their Lego range

  • i am looking at a very limited cheap entry level simple small legos only?

    • What age range are you looking at?

      • Advanced over 16, rare big items. Examples, ferris wheel

        • +1

Have you ever seen a Ferris Wheel in store? I've not seen ANY of the Creator Expert series at BigW

        • Yeah, that's not going to be cheap.

        • +1

          @ashanrath:
I've only seen Ferris Wheel in DJ. I'm pretty sure they got it as an exclusive. $289 from memory

      • I'd settle for Scooby Doo Lego..seems to be sold out everywhere except eBay where it's twice retail.

        • Myer has 20% off toys including Lego until the end of Saturday.
They have some of the Scooby sets available online.

    Not all Legos.

  • No Lego Architecture? Fail, Big W.

    • +1

I've never seen Architecture in Big W so i'm not surprised its not online

bigw click n collect is shit. takes a week or more before you can collect, if they dont stuff up your order in the first place

    • So true. I once ordered a Lego set that I'd seen on the shelf at my local store. Just wanted to make sure it was still there when I got back. It took them 6 weeks before it was ready for collection!

I'd gone and bought it elsewhere, so I just had them refund it in the spot. Ridiculous.

      • you were lucky to get a refund on the spot. the cs desk forced me to send the item back using theor returns system form rather then refund the item I just collected (also took months to arrives).

  • My wife got a couple of these for the same price before Xmas from Kmart, not really a deal more standard pricing. Seems like BigW increased prices then decreased them to look like a bargain.

    • +1

BS, big w are usually below RRP Kmart was probably having a sale because it's normally one of the worst places to buy lego

      • You're right what was I thinking….retailers never increase pricing to make money, they always think of the customer and not profits for shareholders. Everyone just go about buying your super cheap Lego at an amazingly discounted never before seen price.

      • Purchased a Lego Friends set at Xmas from Kmart for $136 (not on sale), Big W was $150+ and Target was $180+ for the same kit - Kmart might be getting better in the Lego selling department? :)

  • It's not their complete Lego range (but there are some good kits available).

  • No Tumbler :\

    • +2

Tumbler was Target exclusive. Big W were never going to have that

  • I get the following trying to use SALE10 - Please enter a Valid Promotion Code

  • Trying to purchase lego through the 20% off link and getting an error message 'Please enter a Valid Promotion Code'. 10% off not being applied.
    Edit: Just saw comment above

  • No Mindstorms?

Damn. I've been waiting for a bargain on the EV3 kit for a while now. It was down to around $350 six months ago, but I missed the deal, and it's been at least $400 for quite a while now.

    • Mindstorms are rare to find on sale, ebay can actually be your friend here

  • Not as good as $25 off ANY lego deal a few weeks ago :)

  • In store price is cheater that this online price !

  • Picked up some Duplo for my daughter ;)

  • I'm tempted to neg this due to the lack of Lego products online but I'm not sure it would be legal.

The initial title was misleading but it's been fixed now.

My search came up with just over 70 eligible Lego items. There are around 400 items that come up using the search term Lego so less than 25% of their range is avaialable through this promotion. I was considering buying some Lego Friends at Big W online but there are only 2 our of 30 something products available. I think I'll be going to Kmart instead.

  • Went in store. Everything was cheaper.
Got two Duplo sets for $20 that were both $23.20 online.

  • Any Lego worth "investing"?

  • Big W changed their online store last year I think, maybe 2014 - instead of running it themselves, it's a different company with "Big W" slapped onto the site, hence the shitty range and prices.

  • Hey guys, where can I buy Lego around Melbourne Central?

  • Word of warning, BIg W stores do not accept returns from Big W online purchases, you need to send it back to online store by post which they claim is a different company and they charge you return postage. Was caught out recently and thought I should share.
