Not known for it's engineering quality.
the eb games at docklands has a whole stack of $20 flight vouchers. i think they just give u one if u make a purchase and ask forit. not sure so ask em. they were sitting on the counter.
For those who have entertainment book membership (Melbourne), you can get 2 for 1 offer which would be two tickets for $35.
In Japan , Yokohama cosmoworld is only $8aud.

A lot of it is probably from people peeing off the edge when they make it to the top. I've heard its this years must-do activity.
Went on this wheel whilst visiting Melbourne in December (using a groupon) and I must say it is the most boring "wheels" I've ever been on anywhere in the world. Nothing wrong with the wheel per se, but the location is dreadful, in the middle of nowhere. Looking directly down all you see are tops of warehouses and costco, to the NE you have the the city, but it's over 1 KM away, and on the other side you have the unsightly port. Little wonder at 5pm on a Friday, we were the only people on it. Save your $25.
