I expect my go daddy $1 per month offer to only be valid for 1 year …. then it be find new provider and update dns.
Be mice to find a good deal that rolls over with sith price hike.
I usually pay 1 year upfront on PayPal so providers can't just up the price and auto deduct in the 2nd year.
I just use mine to host my email because Google and and microsoft don't host free domains anymore.
Wouldn't go with Dreamhost even if they paid me…

Edit: nope, requires year plan according to terms (the * indicates this, despite the fact they don't mention terms here…). Minimum spend $35.88 for "free" domain.
