Bonus points on Altitude Platinum card

Earn 40,000 bonus Qantas or Altitude Points with a new Altitude Platinum card when you spend $1,000 on eligible purchases within 90 days from card approval. Offer ends 29 February 2016.

The $150 annual fee is free for the first year for existing Westpac Customers, when you apply online.

Points will come through within 12 weeks of eligible spend criteria being met.

*Existing Westpac, St George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA customers currently holding a credit card or have closed a credit card within the previous twelve months from card activation are not eligible for this offer

    I couldn't resist temptation - just signed up again after closing my Black card only last week. Sure I'm "not eligible" for the bonus points according to the T&C's - but I reckon it's worth a go, in the off-chance the points slip through.

  How long does it take to get points? I spent $1000 on card 2 weeks ago, but I haven't got the points yet.

  On the website it states points are transfered after 6weeks
