  • nope nothing shipped here too. I ordered guitars, drums and cameras. Good deals are one thing but good service is important too. More concerned about selling as much as possible rather than getting things shipped in a timely fashion.

    • I don't mind paying for stuff with a post dated shipping, especially if it's a bargain, but it's always a concern when stuff that's meant to be sent Monday still hasn't been listed as sent (so best case it will be sent today, Wednesday). The instruments where to ship yesterday (Tuesday) so I'm not as concerned by these, but any more than a couple of days, and I get worried (plus, I want my stuff :P)

      If anyone has had their items listed as sent, please let us know :D

  • I'm getting a bit worried, I ordered a "Logitech G330 Gaming Headset" and a "Logitech X230 Black Speaker System + MK700 Combo" at the same time. I just got the "Logitech G330 Gaming Headset" but the "Logitech X230 Black Speaker System + MK700 Combo" were not in the box. The keyboard wouldn't have been able to fit in the box so I guess they sent the keyboard, mouse and speakers separately and the other boxes might get here later? Even though I was only given one tracking number for the headset, I really should have been given a tracking number for all the boxes. I hope I get the other items tomorrow.

    • I wouldn't wait for that. If I were you, I would email them to confirm exactly what's going on.

      • I sent an email to them yesterday asking what was going on but I still have not got a response. I had a better look at the box and it says "CON NO FMK0014XXX PARCEL 1 of 1" so I doubt there were any other boxes sent and I have not received anything today.

        I sent another email today but still not response. I don't see how they would be able to deny that they made an error and didn't send me everything, the box they sent me still has the eparcel sticker on it and the box isn't big enough to fit a keyboard in (it is a "logitech headset g330" box), no way a headset, mouse, keyboard and speaker set could have fit in that box.

          I'm in the same situation, I ordered the 2x earphones and G110 Keyboard + MX Revolution Mouse. I only received a package for the 2x earphones marked 1 of 1. The other items (KB + Mouse) were not sent.

          I left an e-mail about it and talked to Marney(sp?) on Wednesday, he marked down my name and order number and said that he would look into it and get back to me the next day. It's now Friday and I have left another e-mail and voice message. I still haven't received a response, getting frustrated at the failure to respond to multiple attempts to find out what is going on.

    • I wonder what in process means - mine have been changed to that too, however, they still haven't been sent - so I'm not sure how I'll be receiving anything until next week - I must admit to some disappointment

      • The probably just renamed the status "new" to "in process"… it is now 12:40pm on a Thursday, we can forget about receiving anything until next week. I don't think there is any possiblity that it will arrive tomorrow…

        The twitter message on Monday "Harmony one & z520 Specials all expired . We are working non stop . Most guitars and Cameras will be received this week by all" gave me a false glimpse of hope…

        • I shared your hope - but unless they are overnight couriering these products (which I doubt, due to my last order being received through Aus post), it will be next week before we get our goods - I have a feeling they're combining postage on cameras and instruments - fair enough it saves them money, but makes us wait longer

          • @Mazley: Well, I'm not buying any instruments, only cameras.

            My second camera order is only 12 order numbers later than my first camera order (one indoor system and one outdoor system), and yet it is still "new" whereas the earlier order is "In Process", that was this morning and still no change. So unless they are only getting through 11 orders per day, it would seem something is not right with their order status system.

            I think BC's mouth may be writing cheques his body can't cash. Still, maybe both orders could arrive tomorrow, in which case he is a legend. Either way it is still a great deal.

            • @stumo: My camera has been changed to shipped - so at least it's on it's way - I feel the same - if it arrives today, then I'm a happy chappy, if not, the price is still a great deal, but the next deal may need to reflect shipping more accurately :D

    • well, I haven't tried remote viewing, but once I plugged the camera and receiver direct into the wall, downloaded the latest software, and used vista/win 7 instead of vista, it worked like a charm - very happy with the product itself - can still see outside in virtual darkness :D

    Well, it appears to me that to have 'scheduled' motion detection alerts emailed out, you need to sign up for the platinum service! $79.95 per year!!! :(

    Surely I must be doing something wrong - this wouldn't cost Logitech a cent to provide this service.

    I received my indoor system. However the remote viewing doesn't work properly. I can't access the camera online most of the time. I can only view locally. It's useless if you can't get remote viewing working.

    Hi all,
    Marney here on behalf of BC.
    I also use the security cameras and here's a couple of things to note:
    *Download the latest wilife software and install that, dont even bother with the version on the disc. If you have already installed, do a full uninstall and then download/install.

    • I had a few issues getting remote viewing to work as well, especially in "Direct Mode".
      Configured my router/firewall and also changed the default ports that the wilife software uses, now it works perfectly.

    The thing thats really lacking in the software is the ability to stream live footage to multiple PC's within the same LAN. I've spoken to Logitech about it and they hope to include that feature in a future release of the software, absolutely no idea when/if that will happen though.

    • The thing that's really lacking is the ability to schedule motion alerts to be emailed. It appears to me that this can only be done with a Platinum account, costing $79.95US per year! e.g. I want to set-and-forget the system to send me an email upon motion detection between 6am and 6pm on a particular camera each week day. At the moment, it seems I have set a manual alert every day I want this to happen.

      The other thing lacking is the ability to do infra-red. I understand there is an add-on IR component (not that I can actually see it in the products list), but this should be built-in to each camera IMHO.

      Please tell me I'm doing something wrong… if you can't this will definitely be listed on eBay to try and recoup my costs.

      Oh, and it would be nice if it worked with Windows Home Server also, but I'm not too critical that it doesn't.

  • My two indoor cameras arrived on the 29th, but one worked for 30 seconds then died.

    I've been emailing since the 29th with absolutely no response from these guys - what to do now???

    I've bought three items through logitechshop and the experience was great right up until I needed after sales support. These guys either need a better support system, or tell you up front you are on your own if things go wrong…

    • Update on this. About an hour after I posted this a rep got in contact with me and apologised for lateness. I've started the return process. They asked me to place a call with Logitech to get a case id which I did. I overnighted the camera back to them yesterday (so should get to them today). It was at my cost - however I figure the purchase price is still very low even factoring this in.

      I'll post any updates here.

    • Yeah - just updated my post above. After my third email I sent a tweet @logitechshop and posted here too - not sure whether it was one of those, or if they just finally got to my email that prompted the response - but I did eventually get one.

      I waited for what I thought was a fair time (inc holidays) to respond before I started hassling through twitter.

  • no prob so far with the indoor cameras i bought.

    the alerts are working well… im getting spammed by alert emails, for things like light shades moving. i guess it depends on where i put the cameras.

    i also found there is a slight lag in the photo snapshot when an alert is triggered. it's sometimes blurry.

    • So, have you managed to set up these alerts automatically shceduled for each day, or do you have to turn them on menually?

      • Did you have to pay to get these alerts?

      • you have to Arm the alerts.. there is a button somewhere where u manually arm the cameras. this will make the email alerts work. No need to pay for these alerts… one problem ive also noticed is that ive scheduled the alerts to work only during the day but i keep getting emails during the night too.

        u need to configure and setup the outgoing smtp server for it to send emails. gmail gives u access to their smtp server btw.

    • you can change the area that triggers the alerts, so you can eliminate things that will cause false triggering (trees through windows etc)

  • Has anyone tried hooking their camera up with an external infrared illuminator? I just bought one and am wondering what kind of results to expect.

  • I've setup my indoor cameras in the living and dining room and the fan noise from the power supply is driving me nuts! Why couldn't they design these power supplies with a heat sink or maybe a quieter fan. Apparently the older models didn't have a fan, but I'm assuming there was lots of overheating problems therefore the introduction of the fan in the newer ones. What a massive design flaw! Not sure what I might do now, might consider selling this off on ebay and looking for something else that does the job with less noise

  • Well I still haven't received my cameras! (1 master outdoor, 2 addon indoor).

    I've emailed [email protected] several times and they haven't responded in 8 days.

    My tracking info on eParcel says:

    and nothing else.

    Totally unacceptable.

    • Man that sucks. Maybe 1 last email with your order no. in the subject line. If you don't get a reply, a paypal dispute may be due.

    • Thats strange, they generally reply but only after about 2 email attempts over a 24 hour period, when they do reply they are generally pretty helpful and get things sorted out … so this is rather strange behavior on their part

      • I agree. Exactly what I thought. Maybe check your spam folder? There has been a lot of effort on their part to try to sort out orders in the forum.

      • Sure is. I'll give them until Monday afternoon then I'll be asking PayPal for a chargeback.

        I've always included the order number on my emails' subject line.

        All I got was an initial reply of "I'll raise a query with Australia Post now." that was Apr 7th. I've emailed several times since then, all of which have been ignored.

        I'm out of pocket almost $190.

        And yes, I've checked my spam folder.

        • i wouldnt waste anymore time. I lodged a paypal dispute and it still took them about 3 days to respond but at least they did

        • Still no reply to my emails by Monday afternoon so I lodged a Paypal dispute.

          7 hours later they refunded the order amount. No emails. No sorry. No explanation. I'll verify it by credit card statement in a day or two to make sure the refund actually went through.

          I have to say, I'm really disappointed with Logitechshop. I've made almost $750 worth of orders with them in the past few months, and up until now, had been a happy customer.

          It also appears that they have deleted my account on their website. Whether this was done out of spite or incompetence, I can't say.

          I've given them ample opportunity to respond, via email, via PayPal and even here. I just can't understand why they haven't.

          • @Chris McMahon: All accounts seem to have been deactivated since the launch of the new site. I've had to create a new one for myself as well as a couple of others on the facebook discussion page.

            Can't speculate on why you failed to get your stuff. Maybe they simply oversold more than they had.

  • OK, I'm looking to offload the following. Thought I would advertise them here before putting them on eBay.

    so $269.80, plus postage. I know postage was free, but I'm keen to recover all costs and break even. I'll find out how much Auspost will charge and let you know.

    I've just finished repackaging them all as best I could, but 2 issues arose. The first one is simply that I couldn't find the outer plastic packaging thing for one camera, but will make sure the camera safe and secure.

    The other issue is I can't find one of the wall mounts for the indoor camera. It must be here amongst all my crap somewhere, but I can't find it right now. It still has the desk stand and suction cup mount, but no fixed (screw in) wall mount as yet. If/when I find it, I'll post it on free of charge.

    Other than that, the items are as I received them i.e. perfect working condition.

    The only real reason I'm selling them is they don't work with my Windows Home Server, and I can't justify having 2 PCs running 24/7.

    First reply I get before the weekend wanting all 4 cameras will get them, as I'd rather not separate them. Otherwise, I'll consider separating them.
