  • Great deal, just picked up 2. Limit of 5 per customer. Not the fastest drives around, but the cheapest I have seen.

  • Didn't they offer them at $5 each last time (buy 1 get 1 free) and then withdraw the offer and receive massive backlash from the community?

Could have just fulfilled the orders last time and saved some reputation…

      • Not sure…OP said it was Topbuy

  • There are about few hundreds of them in shop now. I got 4x lol

    gg.

  • +1

"Not sureā€¦OP said it was Topbuy"
    I was ripping "Topbuy" off:)

  • Apus had Kingston 4gb for $5 quite a while ago (Wasn't a mini one though). But this is pretty much an equivalent deal.

  • Please note — Slowest USB pen drive guys.

    • reference?

      • I have one and it takes ages to copy one DivX movie.

  • This still available? Anyone know if they still have plenty of stock in Sydney?

    Cheers

  • I bought one around 5 and they still had heaps left.
I just tested out the speed with a 1GB file and it reads at around 22MB/s and writes at 7.5MB/s.
Not too fast, but not too bad for a $5 stick.

  • I will be there and have a look tomorrow.

  • Thats alright. Now you guys can have what we Victorians had with MLN's $4 offer

  • Any choice of colors we can choose from?

  • Only black… still plenty left this morning

  • Went to the Canberra store at 2pm today, they don't have this deal, didn't even know about the Sydney store having this deal.

I also mentioned OzBargain to them…"OzBargain? What's that?" lol

    • Just went into the Canberra store. There on to it now. They'll be receiving stock early next week.

  • Just bought five drives in Sydney. Great bargain.

  • This 5$ USB stick is the most cheapest in Australia now. One of their staff told me the normal price is $14. They got plenty for you guys. The end day will be tomorrow. Sorry for the blurry pic that I took this at Sydney CBD store in the afternoon.

  • Yeah plenty of stock in Sydney.Theres a whole wire basket of them. About 50cm x 50cm by 80cm deep full of drives. All black colour though.

And theres a guy outside the front of the store talking on a microphone. lol.

BTW did anyone notice any other cheap stuff? I didn't get a chance to look around.

    Cheers

    • They got cleaning laptop kit for $5 including with fiber cleaning wipe, blowing boll, cleaning brush and liquid cleaner, mouse for $10 and Toshiba 16GB for $3x something and some logitech item with 15% off. That's all bargain I have seen.

  • OH! Toshiba 16G for $3X, can someone pls confirm the price, I will get one if its only $35, thx!

    • Oh yeah. Is that the Toshiba USB Drive?

They tried to sell it for me when i was paying for my Kingstons. Supposedly its the cheapest price in Sydney or something.

      LOl

    • It was $39 for the Toshiba USB drives

      • WOW! its $3 cheaper than msy !!!

  • The Canberra store now has these. Same deal as the Sydney store, only 5 per customer. I picked up 5 today!

    • Yeah I picked up 2.

Only wished the manufacturer had included a cap to cover the connnector end, is it generally a problem for the connector to be exposed the way it is? But at $5 each, I'm willing to live with it :)
