    I bought one last week on a similar deal. Please be aware you need a home wi-fi network and a PC/Mac to download the setup client. You set it up on your wi-fi then link it to your fitbit account. It works well even though a little slow to upload results and saves having to manually enter weight into FitBit app.

        Dont forget the cashrewards. They issue the receipt with the full price (without 20%) hence cashrewards on the full price which is about $3 back. I got a surface pro and fitbit last week. Now taking those to TRS claim full GST!

    Can you use these as normal scales as well? My missus has a fitbit and wants one, but I don't use one (but would still like to use these as dumb scales as they would be replacing our normal scales).

    How do they work out who is going to be hopping on (different users)?

      The scales can be used without a fitbit account.
      It can recognise (guess) up to 8 individual users. If two users are within 3.6Kg (8 pounds) of eachother then it may register as the wrong user. To correct this you can use the Fitbit dashboard via the web to reassign a weight.
      If it doesn't recognise someone on the scales, it will be registered as 'guest'. In this case it will only show you weight and not body fat percentage.

        If two users have similar weight, it will show user1 with an ?, if you tab the scale (within a few secs) will switch to user2 and will register the weight to it.

    Do a Google search on "aria hi err" (no quotes).
    Lots of people see this error on their Fitbit Aria.
