    I picked up this deal earlier, but went with the Saturday only pass.

    This lets me in the gate, walk around and look at the stalls, get up close to some cars and get a bunch of photos from different corners during the two F1 sessions.
    Come Sunday, I'll be in front of the TV to watch the actual race.

    FWIW: The premium zone is actually pretty decent. Worth it as an add on to this!

    $45ea for GA tickets with this bargain, then $55ea for the premium zone (not available with 2for1 offer) = $100ea for a decent days entertainment (all including fees!).
    Should be able to get 8 hours of entertainment out of that, with the premium zone available to chill every now and again!

    Also, remember to take an FM radio so you can hear what is going on throughout the day!
    (or just use those Xiaomi Piston headphones and Xiaomi 10,000mAh batteries with your Xiaomi Redmi Note 2/3, you bought from here so I can spot the other Ozbargainers on the day!)

    must be struggling to sell tickets this year.
    I've got phone calls and numerous emails (due to being a GP Advantage member) trying to get me to go this year.

      That's what happens when only one guy can win the championship. They've completely stuffed everything up by making it so engine dependent. At least in the past there was some competition for the title. I'd personally now rather watch Formula E.

        lack of engine noise turned me off it.
        the carrera cup and v8s were much louder. even the speed comparison between the merc, v8 supercar and the old F1 car was more appealing. man that old f1 car screamed.

          As you say. Also, where is the enjoyment factor when cars from 10 years ago could outrun the modern one. There is no risk to drivers and none drive on the edge. The whole thing is a show and if there isn't a show what is the point?
