That's the first time I've seen a store charge an admin fee for click and collect.

    • YES, I noticed that "There is a $3 administration fee for each Click and Collect order." - Very annoying. Why not just have a minimum order instead or something.

    • Nice,

      Subtotal$0.50
      Click & Collect Admin Fee
      Change$3.00
      Total
      (incl. GST)$3.50

What happens if I can’t collect?
Any orders not collected within 10 days of notification will be cancelled. A refund will then be issued, less the administration fee of $3.

Agreed terrible system! Just start off with min spend until it becomes popular like targets click and collect. I love kmart but a $3 fee is ridiculous and unnecessary!

well, I guess we can call them see you next Tuesday……

Thanks! I keep running the lawnmower over the hose… 50c wall bracket will save me hundreds in shredded rubber.

  • is that the instore price too? i just broke an old shovel too …cant really go wrong for 2 bucks.

    • Yes

    • Yes definitely in-store price, just bought all of them for same as online price. Shovel is a steel at $2.

i have the shovel…paid $6 (!!!!!) for it as i was doing some landscaping in november last year and wanted a backup if i broke my main one moving 2 tonne of rocks around the front & backyard. its ok…one piece construction, powder coated, not too heavy. the arm is a bit short for a shovel and the shovel blades angle is a little too steep which means you dont scoop up as much material….i use it here and there but wouldnt want to move a whole lot of material with it as it just isnt efficient as my long wood handled cyclone flat blade shovel…and it gets really bloody hot, really quickly when you lay it down in the sun on a hot day because of the black powdercoat. so good for small jobs bad for big jobs i guess…
in summary…..its 2 bucks. its a shovel, its made of metal… just buy it :D

      not too heavy

All-metal construction does in fact make them a bit heavy for their size. Stronger, sure, but wooden handles are a fair bit lighter and make a difference if using one for any length of time.

Bloody good value all the same.

Oddly, the shovel title says it's black but the description says it's red: "Keep your garden or veggie patch in tip top shape with this vibrant red digging spade"

also rather odd…on the 30cm hand lopping saw:
You must be 18 years and over to purchase these items.

those damn teenagers have been at it again!

      • +3

Teenagers doing the gardening? That's unheard of!

        • +1

15 is the new 50 I guess lol

        • +1

Maybe that explains the description - a frustrated father of a 15yo useless layabout has written the description to make pruning saws only available to 18+ people in order to make them appear "cooler" and desired by teenagers because of the age restriction?

      • I had to get approval by a staff member to buy this at self serve checkout, must be the 18+ thing.

        • if youre serious then this nanny state/ohs thing has just gone so far its ridiculous…. :P

        • ok happened to me too….bought a couple saws thru checkout and had the same thing ….pretty sure i dont look 18 anymore! :P

          @franco cozzo:

Nah any sharp object you have to be 18+
Kitchen knives, butter knives, scissors, saws, hacksaws. all will flag you at self serve.

      • +1

        Apparently sawing is cool again.

The next logical fad after planking?

    • There were red ones next to this one that were $10. The $2 ones are definitely black.

  • Thanks OP

Scored 4 Shovels and 4 Hose Caddies
Plus other fittings and a 30M hose for bugger all, even the check out girl was questioning the price of everything i had in the trolly :)

    • Yep same but I did self serve. One thing I realised is that for 50c you can use the caddies for things other than hoses, eg. electrical cable etc.

  • No shovels, hose racks, or pruners or pink flamingos at Moe.
    Plenty of saws left though.

  • Hose caddy is now .20c in stock Sunnybank hills.QLD
