      I think this is more to do with them being too busy to send them all out straight away.
      I paid by PayPal last Saturday the 13th,and according to the website and Aust Post,they only were sent late last week.If you're in a hurry for them,you can always just buy them somewhere else and pay double or more :) .
      I'm happy to wait at the prices we're getting them for.

    I bought one item from this site recently and the status is shipped on the 15/3/2010 with eparcel tracking number. I have yet received the product. Where can I track the item? I went to australian post website but the tracking number did not revealed anything.

      Make sure the "Consignment number (eParcel only)" part is ticked and then enter your tracking number eg. FMK0013758 into the box.

      Takes a while also, for Auspost to update the status of their parcels. I remember a couple of occasions where it was still tracked to Regents Park when it arrived at my door.

    Just wondering, what exactly is so great about the z5500? I'm not putting it down at all - I just know hardly anything about it besides the fact that they are 5.1 speakers with THX and they cost several hundred dollars.

    I mean my 5.1 Altec Lansing speakers just died last week and after reading a couple of reviews on the x-530, I was looking at getting them. I'm just using an old speaker set that I found lying around the house - R20 and I was just intending to use it until I found a good bargain for either x-530 or x-540 (price not too far off).

    But then I see all these posts about z5500 which seems to be, what, an incredible $300 more than the x-540. Almost 5 times the price (according to staticice) - what makes it so much better and what makes it so popular? I have not looked at reviews, but the price is really what puts me off the most.

      I am not a fan of these computer speakers. I rather get something more decent like a separate amp and floor stand speakers and what not. Having say that. I have heard good things about these speakers especially for their price and size. For 300 they are cheap for what they are but as much as I don't need them
      I would be tempted if bc throws in an insane price.

        I agree with kennethk. I used to own a pair of cheap 2.1 Creative Inspire speakers and upgraded to the Z-5500s. They are definitely good for the price as a HT setup, but the speakers lack some definition in the mid range. It really depends if you're an audiophile or not. Having said that though, the sub DEFINITELY rocks the house.

        I got rid of the z5500s after about a month and bought a set of DSE bookshelf speakers and amp. Much better sound quality IMO.

    im not going to thank each one of you , one by one , because you know that i am thankful , to each single one of you .
    what happened before so we can close this subject once and for all is simple . i breached the rules . i asked people to vote up etc . that was wrong , but let me say , i was not aware , im new to ozargains , and before you know it i make number one user , then 5 of my deals kick every other records butt . so exitment , chaos , you name it , i said things , winged over 1 neg out of 300 (stupid i must say on my behalf ) but emotions kicked in .
    so the big mods spoke , i accepted , and appologised , and yep i said it again . typical bc , :) but no im not here to cause hate , im not here to cause problems .
    The fight that you guys put up for me was OMG hard to even look at , it sounds ridiculous but it was from your hearts , you all expressed your feelings tried and tried , and here i am .
    To Mr Livert , thankyou , beleive it or not everyone , i have no idea who he is , but whoever you are , you worked here for everyone , not for me or my company , you stayed up all nite , updating links , etc etc .
    To ozpete and Scotty , there is a saying that says , leaders are proven by their actions , your approach to things , the way you handled it , the way you still made sure the right thing for ob was done , and respected everything your community has said , is nothing other than great and i will remember , not becuase im back , oh no , but because if something was to happen again i know i was given a fair chance .
    So to LiverT , thanks my man . To Ozpete , you rock , And to Mr Scotty (appreciated with regards)
    And the biggest thank you for all , is to all of you . the ozbargainers , the core of it all , you are wonderful great people , and hehehe the hardest people when it comes to negotiating . you can really pull a bargain under my feet . thankyou all .
    I will be a little different for a while , i will answer your questions , get you the great deals , and do all that . but i have to watch my step , i dont want this to happen again .

    So yes big deals , and bigger than before will come . but lets do it right , i will still listen and do what i always did from a deals prespective , but no mistakes from my end .

    I am glad it all worked out, was about to get heart attack if there wasn't any more crazy Logitech deals! I was gutted to have missed out on the PS3 harmony adapter for $37 (AGAIN! i missed the old one $39 and waited this long !!!), but hey at least the deals will keep on coming for this community.

    IMO, BC has done a lot, no one else can come close to his Logitech deals, i research a lot on prices before i purchase an item, but the last two weeks of bargains hit the impulse buy vein (thats is how good the bargains are! period. 2 sets of headphones for $39.95 even if i had plenty of earphones, i would of still brought it.. It just to good of deal to pass up, and that for me is the essence and soul of this website.

    Bargaincrypt, a humble request. I hope whatever new updates are made (like Z5500 or other great deals), are made sometime in the morning or any time before midnight. It's not possible for most people to check for updates past midnight and a lot of people missed out on some good deals provided by you and posted by Livert today.

    This is a request and not at all a demand. I love your deals and I request this because you have control over the deals you roll out and Livert posts, so I hope you'll consider the masses that aren't awake past midnight.

      Based on the independent user reviews on the official US Logitech site (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers_audio/home_pc_spe…), the 520 is better. Note also that the RRP for the 520 is almost twice as much as the 323. Logic would say that you'd get better bass from the 323 but from the reviews there, the sound is also hollow. So yeah, to cut it short, the 520.

    Appreciate there were issues with this post (see forums) but IMHO bad form to promote and have people wait and vote up these deals on Friday and then pull the links and expire them.

      BC specified that on Friday that these deals were gonna expire at 0600 Saturday am (as approved by BC's boss) so by the time the deal was republished, a few of them had been expired. Most remained active for a while though. I only assume there was no authorization to re-offer the rest of them. I'm not going into anymore discussion on why the deal was unpublished. That has been sorted.
