    Can't find any details on the free breakfast. You might spend money getting there and end up with a soggy croissant or stale muffin and cup of OJ or coffee then have to sit through 2 hours of guff and miss your morning at work to get that. Might be better off spending $5 at Maccas, particularly if you're not interested in Xamarin and Oracle mobile apps.

      You know it well. These breakfast events always have OJ/coffee and muffin trays. Maybe some cookies or croissants if there's plenty of people signed up.

  Would anyone know if you have to stay for the full 2 hours? Or can you make an exit after the first hour?

    Create a calendar event on your smartphone for ~8:45am (just enough time to grab a soggy croissant and cup of coffee) with a title like "meeting with Melbourne MD". Make sure the calendar notification is loud and obnoxious. That'll give you an excuse to duck out after 15 minutes.

    ps: the registration page now says that the event is full. I wonder if there'll be a stream of ozbargainers departing the event early.
