On Tuesday 09/02/2016 some TeleChoice customers experienced issues using their voice and data services due to a network outage. While this has now been resolved, we wanted to show our customers that we are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Because of this, we are providing our mobile customers with free data within Australia on Sunday the 14th of February from midnight to midnight (in your local timezone)

Boost Mobile

On Tuesday voice and data services on the Telstra Mobile Network were disrupted for several hours.
Boost Mobile is a service provided on the Telstra Mobile Network and so customers using boost Mobile were impacted by these disruptions.
We apologise if you were inconvenienced by the outage.
In order to compensate customers for any inconvenience Telstra will be providing all customers who use their network free data usage within Australia this coming Sunday 14th February (Valentine's Day), this includes all Boost customers.
Free data is available from midnight to midnight (in your local Australian time zone) Sunday 14 February 2016.
You don’t need to do anything to receive the free data, we will make it available to you automatically across all Australian states and territories.
So please post, browse, share and stream on us this Sunday.
We hope it helps make up for any inconvenience you experienced.

Today I got SMS from Woolworths:

Free mobile data this Sunday! We are giving all our mobile customers free data this Sunday 14 Feb. It'll happen automatically - you don't need to do anything. just make sure you're re-charged and you'll be ready to go!

I am on prepaid plan from one of the deals.

You may know that due to circumstances beyond our control, there was a nationwide outage on our carrier's network on Tuesday 9th February.

The free data will apply to you regardless of which plan you are on - if you have Pay As You Go, or a Value Pack, you will not be charged for data this Sunday.

The free data on Sunday will apply from 12am AEDT this Sunday morning until 3am AEDT Monday morning, this will allow for our customers in WA to also enjoy free data until midnight on Sunday local time in WA.

        They haven't confirmed it yet, but if it does happen it will be on their Facebook. Also what plan are you with with Lycamobile? I find it is starting to get expensive, but I rarely call or text anyway.

      Yes, free data for ALDImobile too. This is from their site:

    Are the true Telstra MVNOS still speed capped? If so, I think it's worth getting a $2 SIM and $5 Recharge Voucher from Telstra ($5 voucher only available from Telstra shops, so maybe buy a CM2U online) so you can access full 4G/3G speeds.

    I am with Telstra and recieved a pop-up message while accessing the Telstra app that says "Free mobile data this Sunday, we're providing our mobile customers free mobile data usage within Australia this Sunday. It'll happen automatically - you don't need to do anything"
