Thanks TA. Will go good with AMEX deal. $110 of groceries for $80.

    • Yup, have been waiting for opportunity to use that AMEX deal

    • I guess you just need to make sure you're sufficiently over $100 in case items aren't in stock and you're refunded money.

I got targeted offers of $20 off $100 spend, but only in store. Pretty gutted I couldn't use that with the amex deal..

      • i had items cancelled (ordered 105, they cancelled $20 worth - typical). Still got cash back though!

    • Wish I read this earlier, had to remake another order to hit the AMEX deal. >.<

  • Just discovered that click & collect is available from not that many branches.

    • Barking up the wrong tree?

    • wooden you just know it!

  • Thanks TA, goes great with the Amex offer!

  • How do they go with delivering frozen stuff like the Connoisseur that's currently 1/2 priced? Can someone share their experience?

    • +5

its a refrigerated delivery truck - all frozen stuff are delivered at the right temperature. have been using it for over a year now and never had any problem

Ditto as @Hadoop, although I have received the odd connoisseur tub that seemed to have been defrosted and refrozen (you know, with crunchy icy bits), ice creams arrive great 9 times out of 10. In that case I am unsure if the issue was with the truck freezer, the store freezer, or even before that in transit to the store.

      • I have had several tubs delivered like that, i contacted woolworths and connoisseur and got no responses. I ordered around 18 tubs once and all the cookies and cream and vanilla flavours ended up like that but not the other flavours. I think it was an issue with how they had stored it in the first place.

  • Woolworths are doing my head in!! Amex done X 2. And then got a complicated targetted offer spend $85 per week in store get $15 blah blah…(its complicated)

    • I got that offer too but it only applies for shopping in-store not online :(

  • Opal?

  • Somehow they know whether you are New customer or not and the 'NewCustomer' CashRewards trick that worked before doesn't work anymore. Woolworths simply cancelled my order.

I always wonder how to spend that much in WW….even struggle to spend $50 in one transaction for me….sigh

    • yeah, what do you guys buy actually?

  • Can you use egiftcard to purchase online?

    • Yes

  • Can be used only one time

  • what is the eligibility? says I am not eligible for this coupon. Can you please update the post with this information please.

    • Not for delivery, under $100 or for exclusions

      • thanks :) I think because I have never used Woolwoths online - it defaulty offers free shipping swhich I can't change

    Two points;
    1. Frozen stuff can be a bit suss. I am a regular at home delivery and I think it depends on many factors; hit and miss.
    2. I get 11% off all my Woolworths and they bring it to the fridge;
I just paid an annual fee of about $80 for a years free delivery. I have to spend $100 and use my Woolworths credit card. and get $10 off. I go through cashrewards for extra 1% saving.
The once off $80 fee hurt but i don't regret it. I LIVE IN SYDNEY!!! It takes forever getting anywhere. Fuel, tolls, possible fines from the 10 000 cameras and mixing it with the unwashed masses makes online shopping at woolies a no brainer.
So i restrict each order to $100, and apply $10 credit card code. This maximises the % saving. I usually get 3 to 4 seperate $90 deliveries a fortnight.
Clic and collect might work better for some folk.
I must admit it took me about 2 months to get the system down pat.

looking at it says $20 cash back.
can anyone please explain me how to get it?
I have cashrewards account and im existing user on woolies online too.

    • Never saw that before, How do we get the 20$ cashback, that sounds pretty good. Is it just being a first time WW online shopper and going through cash rewards?

    • I believe the $20 cash back applies to new Woolworth shoppers only. That is you never placed online order before.
