Has been $148.75 in the past

Also, for $2 extra, you can get it in a bundle with a 16GB ultra from Sydneytech ebay

  • I got the Viper 2900AL before and it wasn't a very stable router.

    • This one's the same. Dropouts every now and then. Replaced with a netgear r7000 nighthawk, problem solved.

Had mine for close to 2 years now. Had no issues with it at all.

Only problem I have is Optus!

In my experience this proved to be an excellent router. I have three of them for over a year now. Why three? The first one was destroyed by a lightning strike meters from my house which took a lot of equipment (including surge protectors). I live in the area with frequent lightning strikes, and now I have two routers: one active and one spare, to swap in case of such failure happening again. I keep swapping them from time to time to be certain that they both work, and I found them to be very stable, strong routers. The D-Link DSL-2890AL had very good reviews, the Viper (which I never tried) is apparently even better.

  • Bought this modem in dec 2014, returned after 6 months due to constant ADSL2+ drop outs.
Replaced in May 2015, worked exceptionally well for another 6 months, then kept freezing when changing ADSL mode, internet drop outs, WIFI 2.4ghz to be lagging. Called their support, who basically yelled at me because they thought the WiFi was disconnecting and hence my internet wasn't working (ADSL lost sync instead of wifi 5ghz was solid). returned to store i bought from who was happy for me to pay extra and get the D7000 netgear which has been great so far.
