    Picked up some random junk instead including but not limited to a Stig onesie for $15 and what may or may not be a board game. I haven't quite figured it out yet…

      BBC spent a small fortune making this stuff - like hell i'm going to watch it at DVD resolution when the prices are about the same for Blu-Ray.

    Doctor Who blu-ray and Classic Doctor Who episodes on DVD are always good to get when on special. Always overpriced at retail prices.

    Checked 15 classic Doctor Who DVD I was after (including box sets) @ $5.28 each.
    Doctor who series 1-7 (2005-) $24.98 each.

    Although still overpriced before discount.

    While these are pretty cool and I like having physical copies of stuff, streaming services have made BBC stuff so much more accessible. Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, Doctor Who (the 2004 onwards version), BlackAdder, Yes Minister, Yes Prime Minister, Fawlty Towers, Hustle and more are all on Stan in HD in their entirety.

    Even at discounted prices you would be paying for at least a year of Stan to buy all of them.

    Ordered some stuff yesterday. Some of the items were out of stock so I didn't buy. Now I find them all back in stock today. If I order these items I will have to pay shipping unless I can get them to add it to my existing order.

    Phoned them up and talked to someone. He said If I placed another order for the back in stock items they will they will refund the shipping.

    I just called them and asked. BBC Shop Australia is now closed. The warehouse is apparently shipping orders form 20/02 today and tomorrow, and they are shipping later orders in the order they're placed. Apparently they received thousands of orders and are overwhelmed at the moment.

      Thanks. I thought that was the case. Overloaded with orders. Just got worried when it redirected to the ABC shop online. Thankfully other commenter have assured they are still processing orders. Even though the online store has officially closed.

      Even though it hadn't been running very long. From there press release the online store first launched in Australia 5th September, 2014.

    Same boat here, got email to confirm order & nothing since. Tried to call yesterday but office had already closed. Email sent & will follow up Monday morning. Poor service, should have had time to send out an email, not just allow people to try & track their order & find out their account has gone & it's now the ABC website.

      Agree, since they've killed the website so you can't check your order the very least they could do is provide an update, even if they can't dispatch for whatever reason (lack of manpower, stock issues). I'm actually surprised given the amount of orders they have received that more people aren't talking about this and wondering where there order is at.
