the Kinect was never really used very well for the 360 but it's alright.

the bundle for this price is quite good.

Also 4gb is fairly useless on a 360 these days. May games require mandatory hard drive installs and a 4gb machine just isn't going to work without upgrading the hard drive.

  • I believe you can install a hard drive , they are like $25 - $60 on ebay

    • You can connect an external USB hard drive to it, up to 2Tb in size, and you can even install games onto it. No point with using the internal drives anymore :)

  • you can keep kinect and make it $99 kthxbye

Is this the 2012 version that might have the RROD?

Is this the 2012 version that might have the RROD?

The XBOX 360 E (this model) was first released in 2013. As far as I'm aware the Red Ring Of Death has been put to rest.

      sidenote:
In my experience the FINISH of this model (at least the one I have) could do with LESS scratches from the factory (yes, scratches on the front & back straight from a brand new unit coming from a sealed box). It reminds me why Microsoft is just not a real hardware company. Scratches sully the whole NEW hardware experience. Again, I can only speak for my particular unit's finish (bought last year). Don't know how common this is but it wouldn't surprise me to see more.

I am still off-put by fingerprint-laden, dust-laden, piano black gloss (like I have always been), so why they didn't make the whole unit MATTE and white is beyond me (probably to disassociate itself with the faulty models & match the ugly gloss black TVs most people have…). Every single console today looks like crap compared to consoles of the distant past, in my opinion.

        I believed this is Xbox 360 S

        • After a closer look at the box, it is too. Weird. That is 'old stock' now.
