  • got this one from email.
i thought it is not a bad deal.

  • Not bad, only concern it is Refurbished.

  • This is Refurbished
How much in the shop brand new?

    • currently looking to buy this model. RRP $299, currently brand new in JB & OW for $242.

anyone care to share experience of buying refurb. gps unit? are they good buy? warranty is only 3 months.

      • I've bought a refurb 930 from ebay, comes with tomtom 12 mths warranty, very happy with the unit, beats paying full price, no blemishes on my refurb unit.

Can't say much about tomtom phone support though, rep may not be very knowledgeable in my personal experience, best to email them instead, takes a few days before you get a reply.

  • Cheapest $229 on staticICE http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=Tom+Tom+XL+…
so not much a bargain after all

  • Obviously they had problems with this model or else they wouldn't have "Stock" of refurbished ones.

  • Does the refurb model support 30 days free map upgrades? Otherwise buying new would be worth the extra money, Maps are $130 to upgrade.
