Sorry sanyo made in japan til 2009 then sold to panasonic and moved main production of regular eneloops to china
Fujitsu run the old factory in japan which still make eneloop

from what I understand fujitsu ni-mh re-chargables are sanyo eneloop tech so maybe they're the ones to get in future
