        • @Pry: Ye I got the silver one. Ironically, I wanted to get black but it was more expensive when I was ordering it (check edit history) and I didn't really want to risk them running out of stock :(

          I ordered silver 32GB on 22/03 with an estimated delivery of 1st April - 7th April. I sent a message and got the generic response. Still hasn't been dispatched.

          I too am more concerned that they might end up cancelling the orders now, as they have done so in the past…

          I can't really understand how people are already receiving their orders from the 23/03 when many of us who ordered on the 22/03 have yet to even have the order dispatched… (unless they happen to be black).

        • @soaringphoenix: Ok scrap that last message, just received an email from them saying my order isn't expected to leave the warehouse until the 20th of April…. They have given me a $25 gift voucher as compensation, not that I think I'll have much use for it.

  • Ordered a Silver 32GB at around 9pm on 23/03 and still haven't received a shipping confirmation from Kogan. Anyone else in the same boat as me? It is estimated for 4th April - 8th April

      Ordered and paid for my Silver 32 on the 22/3. No eBay updates or emails from Kogan. Just sent them a eBay message asking for an update. Looks unlikely it will be arriving this week :-(

        Did live chat with Kogan rep now and she said:

        We will send a request to our Senior Team to follow up on the status of your order.

        They will look into this and assist you via email as soon as possible.

        Please allow up to 3 - 5 business days for them to get back to you, though it will likely be much sooner!

        Phone support rep was a little reassuring.

        She said the phone will be dispatched soon, no later than Wednesday and the tracking info email will arrive soon.

  • Kogan DELIVERY! Just found out it takes up to 2 WEEKS! for it to leave the actual Warehouse in Hong Kong. Not arrive at your door step. Everyone should be factoring in 3weeks on average for Metro.

  • Agghh, our were delivered but nobody was at home. Anyone knows if I can go today to get them to the depot? I remember that you have to call first but I'm not sure though. If I have to call I will have to wait until tomorrow as can't talk by phone and my wife is at work atm.

    Ordered on the 23rd in the morning, didn't hear anything until the 31st, receiving an email at 11:54pm that day from both eBay and Kogan saying it's been sent. So the delivery itself is pretty quick, it's just Kogan taking their time with actually sending it!

  • So my package was marked for delivery this morning at 5AM and I asked somebody to stay home to collect it for me … many hours later (now), it was not delivered so I rang them and find out it dropped out of the truck in the morning so they will be re-delivering tomorrow.

    I can't get the package tomorrow, thanks a lot TOLL.

    Sent a message on Friday and recieved a response today about the crappy dispatch time. Ordered 13 days ago and it still hasn't left Hong Kong. Message from Kogan:

    • Same… great quality control. My favorite part was when I notified support - they're convinced it's the right adapter and you just need to apply more force….

      • Actually applying more force worked for me. I wasn't game enough to do it initially.

        I have the Kogan branded roughly 'hexagonal' white block adapter. Was able to jam it into the top 2 (horizontal) slots (the ones that have a round hole in between them). Rapid charging now as we speak.

      • Yeah! the adapter doesn't look promising; but with bit of force it fits snugly.

  • Ordered black 32gb on 22nd. Got dispatched 5 days ago but tracking says it not even in transit. Asked customer rep via live chat and am now waiting for an update.

        • I Just contacted livechat (as you have) and she escalated it

          "We will send a request to have this investigated by our Experienced Freight Team.
          They will get back to you via email as soon as they have an update.
          Please note that investigations can take up to 10 business days to complete, however, we will make sure that this will be highly prioritized so that they will get back to you sooner than the usual time frame."

          Looks to me like somebody made a Toll booking but never told Toll so they're sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

        • Think the same happened to mine. The Toll tracking number from Kogan cannot be found in Toll's system even though I recieved a dispatched email on 30th. Toll can't find it by name or address either. Kogan said they would get back to me in 24 hours.

    • FYI I got a dispatched email 31/3. Picked up at Toll yesterday in Canberra. 1512 model, black 32GB too.
      Happy with it,except:
      - packaging by Kogan not great so box is a bit dinged up; was just bubble wrapped into a prepaid bag.
      - The Kogan adapter they gave does not seem to fit the USB charger [double] prong so can't charge unless via computer. Others have reported this too (above).

        I'm still waiting for mine to be dispatched :(

        Did they try mail to you, but you weren't home? Then they sent you an address to collect?

        • @cheapskateasianchic Havent had a chance to put a SIM in it (long story) - but I am with Telstra. Will let you know.

          @cable2123 With difficulty… the problem was getting into their right business area (Toll Priority, Express, Global….) kept getting passed around and spending ages on hold. The number that Kogan sent in the dispatch email was not the right business unit/phone number.

          Finally got hold of the right area who told me to call the Canberra depot (Queanbeyan). Called them, asked them to hold, but it was already on the truck by the time all this had happened, only just. Anyway, got the lady to ask the driver not to bother delivery since no one home.
          Lady asked me to come to depot at 4:45pm yesterday when the driver is back. Got there early at 4:30, had the phone after 5 after a bit of a wait.

          I also collected mine at Toll depot in Adelaide Airport at 7:30pm last night. I was lucky as I live close to the airport and Toll Priority is close to the airport too. I took a guess and went there to ask for the parcels without calling.

      20th is when it is expected to leave Hong Kong. Slap another week on top of that. All up 5 fricken weeks… Im putting in for a refund. On live chat now

        Yeah, I'm already invested in a spigen case, tempered glass screen protector and that good USB-c cable deal from banggood. At least they didn't cancel our 6P orders.

      Yeah I'm not quite sure how to feel. On the one hand it was a great deal, but honestly, just give us realistic shipping times. If there's going to be a 2-3 week delay, then communicate this sooner. Don't send a generic reply saying "your order is still processing" and then wait until the end of the 2 week dispatch period to let us know that it's delayed, that's just poor customer service.

      I think if they failed to dispatch on 20 April that would deserve 1 star.

      I'm pretty happy with the purchase given the price. My spigen case is waiting on the alter waiting to be married to the phone at the moment…

      I have resorted to using the free woolies vodafone smart first 3G phone. :)

    For those eagerly checking on the delivery status, I found dpex.com a lot more reliable for tracking and updates. Use the same tracking no as toll/kogan.
    I got my 64gb one yesterday, ordered 22nd March at night.

  • So this is my situation.

    I purchased a black 32GB

    I have been waiting since March 24, had no response then on March 31 i emailed kogan via eBay, they immediately replied and said they will dispatch right away.

    They gave me a tracking number

    However it has been sitting with TOLL since March 31 as documents received until I emailed them today Again via eBay and they said apologies. Now status on toll changed to In Transit to destination

    Argh this has been so frustrating, I'm assuming since this is coming from Hong Kong it will take another week until I actually see the phone.

    Hopefully the end result is good and worth the huge savings in the price. But very turned off by Kogan

  • My black 32GB arrived earlier this morning!
    After much hassling to Kogan and TOLL GLOBAL EXPRESS I've finally received it (7 April and ordered 22nd March)

    I got an email from kogan on 30/3 that my item was 'dispatched'

    My status of delivery was always stuck on "postage info received" on the kogan tracking site, I wasn't able to track it via toll global express site

    It wasn't until I called toll global express via phone (2 nights ago) when the status finally moved to "in transit" then "delivered" (final 2 stages happened over 1.5 days)

    Also I recommend tracking through dpex.com, it's more thorough

    Good luck to all those still waiting, maybe these steps may speed up the process

  • Finally got my 32GB BLack Nexus 6p, guys the key is to keep pestering kogan with emails or chats and TOLL. If u leave it to them they forget about it, but if u remind them the package starts to move.

    Great phone, really beautiful well worth the wait, box was dented from one of the sides, a long time ago that used to bug me but don't care anymore. Also from other posts it serms many also recieved with damaged box. Inside box was perfect and new.

    Black 32GB arrived in Adelaide this morning at 8:15AM. Just as I was leaving for work.

    Adapter fits but is snug.
    Box was well protected but had a couple of dents.
    Phone was fine inside.

    I've noticed the 32gb aluminum is back up on kogan site for $659. Was previously listed as sold out. Still waiting…. Impatiently.

    Also just checked their eBay store. It is back on there for $681 and still offering the 20% off deal. What the?

      Long time lurker, first time poster. I actually made an account just to reply to you haha. I too noticed that it was back in stock and contacted Kogan today about it. I was told that the stock had just come in and that they should ship it by the 20th. I was a little suspicious that they might have listed the item before the stock had even hit their warehouse. Also waiting impatiently……..

        • Same here, but honestly I don't feel like I'd be completely happy with the purchase. Better to wait two weeks than to be stuck with regret for two or so years (assuming you keep your phone for that long :P).

  • The 20th is fast approaching. If kogan turn around and say they can't get stock, I'll tough it out and go with optus $48 plan and play it smart on WiFi. Hoping they come though with the goods though.

    • Actually not bad despite the 1gb data. I have high hopes. I'd like to think they wouldn't relist the item without actually having stock (or at least anticipate stock coming in soon), otherwise it would only make more problems for them.

      On a side note, I contacted Kogan support today to see if they had any updates on my order (32gb aluminium). I was told that there were no updates on the order. Repheal was quite certain that they had stock. Of course they would never admit trying to sell something they had no stock of Hahaha. Anyways, he said he would raise it with the senior team as an urgent case.
