My Logitech speakers broke out of warranty so I looked around for a replacement. Did a bit of digging and found the Swan (also known as HiVi) M50W speakers on sale for 230 USD. Shipping to US is $31.50 but for some reason, shipping to Australia is free! You'd just need a travel adapter for the Subwoofer.

If another 6 sells then everyone gets it for 200 USD (266 AUD).

Distinctive features of these speakers are that it has a wooden finish and an aluminium control dial with LEDs.

I don't think it has been cheaper than this but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Edit: Just dug a bit deeper into the massdrop comments and based on a comment apparently they 'hide' the cost of shipping.

  Damn missed out as well, must have been brodened. Clearly massdrop needs a more strict limit to how much people can purchase.

  Guys, you didn't miss out. You can still login and buy it but I expired the deal because:
  1) read some comments that apparently MassDrop 'hides' the cost of shipping when you checkout only for it to resurface later and have rumoured to cost $100+; and
  2) the potential issue of needing a transformer of getting it working in Aus.
