  • Expiry 10th June 2015 - Typo ?

    • I'm guessing they meant 2016.

  • Do the SIMs include credit that can be used for google play etc?

    • yeh keen to know too, though itd be pretty odd if it does

    • I think this SIM is take out from USB modem. They sell modem without SIM separately.
      So No I guess.

  • What a scam!
Never buy any sims/plans from Phonebot! They are terrible. I purchased Vodaphone $40 starter pack from the online shop using the deal published here on Ozbargain. It came in dodgy looking package with the sim card sticky taped. When I tried to activate it Vodaphone said it had already been activated. When I called them the first time I was promised that the replacement would be sent to me promptly. Then when I tried to follow up after a few days my emails are being left without reply. When I tried to call I was referred by a very rude salesman in St.-Kilda to Resevour shop. Tried to call them and got nothing but a message bank of some mobile number. Not replying because too busy sticky taping used sim cards and selling as new to unsuspected customers? Scammers!

  • Negative vote just to warn people that this can be a dodgy deal as well

  • Magical day isn't it?
Just got my $27 Phonebot order for x3 2GB sims, but they taped x7 inside. What does that mean?

Also it took ten days as Phonebot posted this Express Post item in a red postbox instead of gold/yellow. So a big Austpost sticker says.

I can't complain, but it shows they're maybe a bit disorganised.

    • Later I got an email saying they had a glitch and sent the orders twice, so please return and they'll refund the postage. But I haven't received the second lot.

Phonebot, you really need to get it together, and clear the dishes and lockup the pooch before chucking the orders into the envelopes. Accuracy is needed.

Sorry if too harsh. Want to neg but wont.

    • I also got the email about the doubling up. I sent back the second SIM and emailed them… no refund of postage yet. Oh well.

      • Same here.
I didn't have any stamps handy so used 2x 65c Christmas stamps, should have just sent it back unstamped and let them pay the penalty!

  • Purchased on 31/3. Still waiting.

    • Send them a note and tell them to read comments on this page, if you want.

      from their email: Return-Path: <[email protected]>

      • Thanks. It arrived the day after I posted. I haven't tried it yet as it's for a rainy day (when I've burnt my monthly plan quota).
