Get it with the normal mayo instead of the maple sauce because it's way too sweet.
Tried this. Definitely prefer the normal zinger. The bun tastes sweet and with the sickeningly sweet maple sauce, it was absolutely awful. Couldn't stand eating the rest of it, so into the bin it went. Ordered a normal Zinger and it tasted heavenly in comparison.
Bought one the other week. Something's definitely 'off.' Interesting novelty but definitely wouldn't buy it again
I downloaded the app for this deal, but just looking at the stores on the map, not even one store has kfc xpress in my area, FML! Lol
The deal isn't live till the 12th. The store manager advised me that it was out on the app by accident. They were told to honour the deal anyway by email

I thought this burger was great. ZInger chicken, sweet sauce, bacon, lettuce, tomato and chilli for some very light heat. The black bun is a gimmick but as a KFC connoisseur this burger was probably the best thing I've had at KFC.

Such a shame there are so few xpress stores around the country. Seems to be a very slow roll-out from KFC head office. I download the app periodically then delete it again once I realise nothing is available near work or home.

I haven't been tempted in the slightest to eat KFC since I discovered Hot Star chicken here in Adelaide.
I'm not sure if they're in other states too, but there's one over here on Grote St (in 'Chinatown'). Whenever I have a hankering for some froed chicken now, Hot Star is just immeasurably superior to KFC (not that that's too difficult). And their curly fries are kick-arse too. Get their signature 'large chicken' piece. It's massive (a while chicken breast) so split it with someone else if you have to. The small pieces aren't nearly as good.
This is the most vile burger I have tasted. It smells foul and tasted awful. Seriously, I have eaten my fair share of crappy fast food but this takes the take. I took a couple of bites and threw it in the bin.

Not available in Queensland either. "Xpress Not Available" for every store that I clicked on. I then web searched to find this posted in iStore, "Order KFC via the Xpress App to have the best KFC experience! (Available in an increasing number of KFC restaurants in all states except QLD".
I had it today. It was awful (for me). They're too sweet.
If you get it, ask to not add maple mustard sauce, (or substitute for mayonnaise or something). the maple mustard dont go well with it imho

Pretty decent lunch.
2 burgers, and swapped the chips for potato and gravy and a coleslaw. Probably should have gotten an additional chips to go with the potato and gravy though.
The annoying bit is the hunt around for a KFC with the xpress thing enabled. There is only one in Melbourne CBD, 401 Swanston.

Yea, it's a great deal.
I got it yesterday but added extra lettuces to the burger (free), changed 1 of the chips to gravy and change one of the drink to coleslaw.
Then combined with an extra free chips and drink, $$ :)
Great meal for 2 or 1.
I actually enjoyed this burger, although I don't eat at KFC often. Such a pitty the app deal is not supported in most Adelaide stores.
Obviously you never tried it as its a notmal bun with food dye in it .
