As per title, every new pet insurance policy nets a $50 Woolworths gift card. This week's catalogue also mentions getting $25 Woolworths Dollars with a new policies with promo code PET16, but I'm not sure if they can be combined (can't read small print on the online catalogue).

They also have a price beat guarantee.

    Can you take out the insurance, then cancel, receive a pro-rata refund, But keep the gift card?

      Possibly, but the gift card isn't sent for 2 months which is likely to cost more than $50.

    Just called Woolworths Pet Insurance. I was told it's a one year contract, even though you have option of paying fortnightly, monthly or annually. There is a cooling off period. I asked what would happen if I wanted to cancel the policy sooner if something terrible happened, like the death of the pet, I was told they would look at such cases individually and most likely allow me to cancel, but reminded me that this is a one year policy. I thought you could cancel almost all insurance policies, like car, home, content and health whenever you wanted to.

      You can, according to their website. If you pay yearly you can get it pro-rated, or with fortnightly or weekly payment you can cancel any time.

      Some do, you'll need to check with the insurer. If you're a member of Choice magazine, they have a new review done this month.
