    looks ideal for someone who just wants to host a mail account or a small business so they look more professional than than gmail or hotmail account. mine is currently on go daddy for $12 per year but I'm sure that was just an intro and come renewal time I will be surprised. Microsoft and Google used to host domains for free for mail but now they make use office365 Mail ($5 per month / $60 per year) …..I think google is about the same . I keep my domain and dns with Ventra That's about $9 per year on top.

    so many cheap options now for individuals or small business to host mail and look professional.

      A GoDaddy phone supp guy once told me that
      It can be MUCH better to get a New Domain
      (when cheap, on sale) for Lotsa Years, ie,
      IF the annual rate remains same as 1st year's.

      Else, you have No Price Stability after 1 Year.

      Perhaps this applies to Hosting plans.

      IPage was cheap over Yr 1, but over priced
      IMO for annual plans thereafter.

      But - when they rang to remind of renewal
      time, they were able to find a 3 yr plan for
      A lot less… Not cheap, but acceptable…

      CrazyDomains can be similar, but they save
      the cost of outgoing callers…
      First renewal price was ridiculously high, eg,
      on new TLD: .Science
      When I didn't nibble, they later sent another
      Renewal reminder with much lower prices
      (already in Au$)… eg, Au$6.95 each .Science

      AND… they DIDN'T charge any penalties for Post-
      Expiration renewals… As others have tried
      to collect, in,past.

      BOTTOM LINE TIP: Don't be Too Quick to
      Accept Early Renewal Offers (Domain Names).

    After 2nd go, I noticed it says "eMail sent"

    So, either the service does things Manually,
    behind the scenes… OR

    …it may be a Scam + Identity info Harvester…?

      I am trying to get in to web hosting and found that you have very good prices compared to the the main companies around plus you offer free SSL for life which other companies charge for ~$12. Not to be rude or anything but I find this too good to be true. Your "about us" page is describing a company that has served a lot of companies with a strong customer base across the globe, but just started 2016 which is 4 months in so far unless you're an old company renewed I find it hard to believe. Your blog also have 1 entry so far.

      I apologize if I am wrong but these are things I just wanted to point out to the ozb community and see what you guys think. If I am wrong and get negged, I probably deserve it.

      I've sent an application too before I noticed but haven't got a response, but got a reply for my inquiry (different topic) ~2hrs ago.

        I would like the webhostingup.com representative to please substantiate this claim. i.e. I expect some reference sites/testimony material before I sign up.

      For free plan its 10 and for others you can have as many as you want or till you run out of disk.

      For free plan we need to cross check that the details provided by you matches with WHOIS details. Its just to make sure that you don't do multiple signups with our free plan.

      SSD are much faster than the conventional HDD so your websites will be loading faster with a hosting that uses SSD.

    Just registered but cant make use of the ssl certificate in wordpress? Every time I try to login to the admin page it takes me to webhostingup.com/wp-admin instead of my own domain.

        I got the ssl working with Lets Encrypt but it is only for 3 months and then need to manually renew? Is there an included dedicated SSL script in this plan?

          Don't worry about this as all the Lets encrypt SSL certificates are auto renewed for our web hosting and you don't need any script for this.
