Kingston HyperX Savage 480GB SSD - $219 + Post (Save $50) @ PCCaseGear

13

Grab yourself one of the top of the line ssd's from hyperx now $50 cheaper than all its competitors from Pccasegear! Adding P&H to total $230 delivered this is still an amazing deal! Grab it while stocks last!

And for those who care. Yes this can be delivered from amazon for $20 or so dollars less but its also foreign stock, from a random online shop in god knows where and the shipping takes a month or so to arrive.

Vs.

Local stock shipped from melbourne (and from the blokes at pccasegear) delivered within the week.

P.S. For those asking why this when you can get an 850 evo 500gb from Samsung.

One, this is cheaper when the evo is priced at 229 at pccg
Two, this drive is faster read/write (albeit slightly) with much better random read/write speeds.
Three, this drive looks cooler and would be a must have in red/black gaming builds.

From my point of view this justifies getting this over an evo but of course if you disagree i respect that, just don't force your opinion on people.

    Price in title please.

500gb samsung evo is $218 + shipping…. why would you even consider this?

    • Because the 500gb samsung evo on pccasegear is $229 without P&H so idk where your prices are coming from?

And also because this has a better read/write speed as well as better IOPS read/write?

So in general its a faster drive? For cheaper?

I know that benchmarks aren't everything, but this doesn't look too promising…

        • benchmarks don't account for the red. Red adds 50 horse power.

FYI prices are from shopping express… and that's not even on sale. You make it seem like PCCG is the only shop in town with the absolute best prices around.

now $50 cheaper than all its competitors

    It's really not though. Samsung 850 EVO 500GB, $229. SanDisk Ultra II 480GB, $209.
It's $50 cheaper than its regular price, not $50 than everyone else.

Might be saying PCCaseGear sells that specific item for 50 bucks cheaper or something. Mental gymnastics I know…

      • Yeah maybe, though even then they're wrong. $206 at ShoppingExpress, $219 at CPL, even cheaper at other (albeit less reputable) places.

    Blatant sockpuppet?

Oh nice, it's the same guy who negged my BX200 deal and repeatedly tried to undermine many SSD deals.

Neg because it's cheaper elsewhere, around $200 delivered off amazon and $206 at SE

      • and no price in title right?

        • This guy is too hip for price in title because he uses an SSD that you probably haven't heard of.

        • @Diji1: I was going to comment that HyperX is a Kingston trade mark and then realised it's actually a Kingston product. So OP is using a recognised brand, just doesn't know it apparently !

      • Nice spot lyl!

Actually the only ssd deal i undermined was yours, because it was crap.

And yes of course its cheaper off amazon, but it also takes longer to deliver.

I personally value within the week shipping from melbourne than waiting a month for it to ship from LA or whereever.

P.S. This is actually my first ever post on ozbargain and no i didn't even know about the prices on other sites and i yes i probably should have checked but understand this okay? Because i neg'd your post for a legitimate reason which i got consistent comment upvotes for doesnt mean you have to come back and slam my very first one with a landslide of sarcasm and criticism. Positive criticism is fine and i actually respect the guy who asked about the price in the title. But you sir don't deserve that.

You've clearly never ordered off Amazon before.

  • Same drive is $242 delivered on tatbay.

    Cheaper at Amazon

      Not local stock

      • -5

        Exactly!

Some people don't value faster shipping or local warranty/shop claims. It saves you money and if you ever want or need a refund you only have to communicate with pccasegear in melbourne, a company all techheads in australia know and respect instead of 4231#@! in Ohio or something.

$30 and a month shipping difference from amazon in this case is can be either a huge saving for someone who doesnt care for time or a huge loss for someone who does!

I'd personally go for local stock always and the fact that this is on sale just makes it $50 sweeter. And from pccasegear no less!

          Don't think you've experienced amazon customer service/shipping before…

Regular price is $206 + Shipping at shopping express and skycomp, which was pointed out already, and you're still trying to convince everyone to order from pccasegear because it's on 'sale'?

      • doesn't worry me..
