They marked up the i7 6700k again.. What's the point of 10% off?

Kogan have been fined in the past for raising prices before issuing a discount sale. It was only $32k though, so I guess that didn't affect their bottom line at all.

    • To get people that are ignorant of i7-6700K prices and of Kogan's practices to believe they are getting 10% off the "regular price".

      Widespread practice I'm afraid.

    • Ugh goddamit dupe.

  • Can someone more in the know tell me the difference between

To the untrained eye they appear to be the same, guessing neither is Aus stock with Aus warranty tho ?

  • Is it safe to buy iPhones on Kogan? Is Kogan the cheapest place to get an iPhone?

    • Hi,

      Price isn't everything…

Check carefully if the iPhone is being sold by Kogan Hong Kong as specific Terms and Conditions apply.

Oh right - so I shouldn't buy it if it's Kogan HK?

      • +1

        Good spot

    • It's safe in the sense that Kogan is a large and well established retailer but do your own research as suggested.

mwave have cheaper refurbished iPhones. Kogan stock is HK and though the Apple warranty is "worldwide" on new stock they reserve the right to refuse service if it's from another region and they almost certainly won't replace it if there's a serious issue. That means you could potentially be sending it back to HK, if there is a serious issue. TL;DR they are close to the cheapest but a local warranty may be worth it. Note 2: local warranty is 2 years according to the Australian Consumer Guarantee

Thank you OP. Bought a Bissell 1047F with 10% off which is better than the free shipping offered last week.

Brings the price of the LG G4 down to about $370 with Amex offer.

    • Does the price include shipping?

      • I never thought of that actually. I didn't check because I already have the phone.

      • Nope has to pay for shipping mine over $22 damm

  • This may have been answered previously, but are customs, duties and taxes levied when purchasing from Kogan HK over $1000.
