Target (Instore) - Wireless Keyboard $1.40 / Wireless Mouse $0.35 -- Were $20 / $10. Clearance = 30% Discount

820

Target currently have 30% off clearance electrical items … this includes the wireless mouse / keyboards that were posted @ https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/245803

Went into Fulham Gardens Target (SA) and they had stacks of them. If you're lucky, you'll even get a free layer of dust on top of these as a bonus!

Have used both - for the chump change these cost they are an absolute bargain! Only downside to the keyboard is the chunky Enter key - hate that keyboard layout (especially when the FN key is where ALT should be, and / is in the wrong place) - but for the price you cannot go wrong!!

The wired USB keyboards they had for $1 (I think it was) would also be included in this sale - they had pink, green, and black, but didn't bother with these - although they have the proper keyboard layout (with a normal slim rectangular Enter key).

Both come with a small plastic USB dongle tucked inside the battery compartments (and both take 2x AAA) - about the size of a Logitech Unifying dongle (only sticks out about 6-7mm). The mouse has an on/off switch, whereas the keyboard doesn't.

I got both of those at about $5 a piece. The keyboard is ok, but the mouse is terrible. The clicks never worked properly, often no response or multiple clicks, and the pointer was all over the place. Maybe I got a dud, but it was tossed pretty quick.

  • Thanks OP. I needed a cheap keyboard for my TV. I hope that there is stock by the time I get there.

They are not as cheap as you JV.
        Better mind your business.

        • -5

          it doesn't need minding.

  • Wired keyboards are scanning at 70c each at erina, wireless $10.50 and $7

What an ugly mouse, not that I am complaining about the price.

  • None at Doncaster Westfield

Just bought 3 wireless keyboards in Miranda, NSW - about 20 left. (+ some wired, no mices) It scans as "was $2, now $1.4", so 99% price error but they won't cancel it if you will be quick ;)

Also Pendo bluetooth keyboard for $7 looks all right.

    • +3

      so 99% price error

      How? 30% off $2 is $1.40….

      • +2

Yeah, definitely not a price error … just stupidly cheap + the additional discount = even more stupidly cheap!

      • +1

Its normal price is $20, not $2.

and? target has heaps of these clearance sales where they reduce items by a significant amount. just take a look at the recent gaming clearance post.

        • @CVonC: So where is an offer that the keyboard costs $2? Title here says only about 30% off and that itself is not that great.

        • +1

          @Piter71:

It's obviously being cleared out and not all clearance items are on Target's website. They get deleted periodically. You can't even search for the SKU code of 57368146 unfortunately.

Yes it was $20, it went down to $9 and down again to $2 and now 30% off @ $1.40. The $2 offer is right there in the OP photo as that's what it scans at. No need for price error scepticism.

        • @CVonC: Heh, all right - I give up ;) Doesn't really matter, it's cheap!

        • @Piter71:

Hell yeah it is, lucky you were able to find some. I checked 2 stores today and they were none. The wired ones were there though.

But I did see 2 of these bluetooth keyboard for ipad for $7 at Castle Hill

    • I got the pendo today and works perfectly in my Nexus 7 tablet. Granted all that's left is the horrible neon green one.

these deals are never available at Melbourne CBD store :(

  • None at Forest Hill, VIC.

  • 6 keyboards? Broden?

    • +2

No, not a Broden … I'm the IT manager of a primary school - can always find a use for a wireless keyboard or two, plus got a couple for myself.
I could have cleaned out the store if I really wanted to … but didn't :) Still at least 25+ keyboards left, and just as many mice after my purchase.

      • Fair enough, picked one up myself. They also had ipad keyboard/case for $7 which wasnt too bad. Grabbed one of those also.

  • God damn it, why me!!!!! I paid 50cents for the mouse the other day. Nothing ever works for me :(

Shaiser! I got a keyboard (green with chiclet keys) for 70cents at Target Burwood last weekend, I should have posted the deal.
So this keyboard at $1.40 is an absolute ripoff at double the price.
