  • Couple left in Glenorchy TAS store. Cheers for the post.

    • Funny, I went there on saturday and they reckoned they had none. Showed them the add from their website too. I saw some there but they weren't marked at $99 like in the hobart store.

Don't bother with Officeworks in Perth. Tried Innaloo and Malaga but both refused to price match because they can't find it on their website. Going through Ozbargain doesn't count because they think it might be a fake page.

    • Tell them to search for 57780504 on the target web page then

      • Doesn't work (on the mobile site at least) . It just says 0 products found.

        • Works here on a Note 3 using Chrome. After searching for 57780504 it leads me directly to the OP link….

        • @CVonC: oh right. It works when I paste the number in but not when I type it in. So weird.

        • @Ion:

lol it still works for me if I type it on my phone or desktop

ask them to call Target craigieburn ((03) 8358 7300), they have stock and can confirm price.

      • Legend, thank you finally got one.

    • Would love to know if anyone in Perth manages to get one. Called the East Perth store and they said they couldn't find it, but they didn't sound too eager to check anyway.

Thanks, got one from Craigieburn VIC Target, they still have some left. No stock at Hightpoint or Werribee Target.

  • I didn't think officeworks pricebeat clearance items?

    • +2

The thing is in this case, it doesn't say Clearance.

Thanks OfficeWorks - $65.83 at North Ryde NSW this afternoon with their price match.

How is that cheaper than free?

      • how to get it free? they charge $25 after 6months.

      • You are right, i wasted $21 for nothing. Got my 2nd phone unlocked by Optus chat for nothing.

  • Anyone know how to get otg working on this phone.

I guess I'm gonna call up all the stores Australian wide for the stocks status and kindly ask Officeworks to pricematch it T.T

    • If you do this, mad props to you if you post the results.

I came to Officeworks Preston (Bell Street) in the evening, pretending to be an innocent boy who just wanted a normal price match. Surprisingly, the lady was very easy and just do the price beat for me as for $66 and did not bother to check Target stocks. Heaps thanks to her, I might be the luckiest guy today haha.

        • Any chance you could take a photo of the receipt? (my local officeworks wont match but will if i have proof that another officeworks sold at that price)

        • @evilcheese: i don't know how to upload. but I heard the comment below that OW head office has called up all stores for the target clearance pricematch. Probably Officework not gonna do the same anymore. My friend got rejected yesterday as well even though he was successful before. Guess Im really lucky though.

  • One left at Rockingham, WA, Officeworks price matched $65.55 (as at 11.00 today)

Got one from Officeworks which was a customer return. Even got a free unlock code through Optus Chat, however it does not ask for an unlock code to enter. No network with all sim cards even Optus.

Is it possible that the previous owner entered an incorrect unlock code 10 times?

Edit: Tried again and suddenly worked

Anyone still looking for this? I emailed Target a few days ago, they replied this morning with some stocks left in Melbourne. Do note the below information is delayed by 48 hours, you may want to call the store and get one reserved beforehand.

    Dandenong 6
    Mornington 3
    Brimbank Central 3
    Cranbourne 1
    Chadstone 2

    • Are you sure they didn't give you a stock list of the Unlocked model as I called 4 of the above yesterday morning and they didn't have any in stock.

      • dunno, I gave them a link & product number, then that's the stock list Target gave me. Apologies if the info is inaccurate :)

Hoping to run one of these with Google tracking under the seat of my car (Like a poverty GPS).

Wonder if my insurance will go down.

  • Still 4 in Bundy

  • Anyone who managed to get a price matched from OW are lucky. I was told at one OW that they WONT price matched with "Clearance"and "liquidation"stocks… :(

    • But again in this case, this is not a Clearance item at least it doesn't say so anywhere.

      • The OW I visited today checked this website and told me it's a "clearance" item..

        https://www.target.com.au/p/optus-lumia-64-pre-paid-mobile-p…

I will try to visit one or two other OW tomorrow and see whether I get any lucky…

        • Oh the told you, must be true. Why didn't you argue the point :(. It isn't a clearance, not marked as clearance in anyway shape or form.

        • Same here, OW told me the same thing, head office called them today and said this is clearance item from Target so won't price match! Oh well, save me $65.55.

I have a Lumia1020 and really has the best camera out there. 41mp - can shoot RAW as well. As a photographer this is an asset. Downside of a Windows phone is the lack of apps and app useability. The INGdirect app - AWESOME - ANZ App - crap. I used IE explorer as the browser. It worked fine. 6tag is fantastic for instagram. FB app worked fine too. I have gone to an iPhone6 now for app-ability but much prefer the camera on the Lumia and also love how it organises all of the apps in alpa order. Apple could take a leaf out of their organisation book for that!

So many apps that were fab are no longer supporting Windows phones - Spotify, HERE maps (fab app) and more - just some of the reasons I switched to Apple. I will still use the phone for it's camera though.
