  Intel E3-1241v3 has only 4 cores but 8 threads. 10TB & pooled bandwidth is certainly attractive.

      Thanks. We are paying a bit of excessive bandwidth although nowhere close to 10TB. We might be shopping around for some dedicated servers but currently too busy to make any move.

    Biggest thing would be they use Dell M610 / 710 blades which are pretty old (hence the old CPU they put in them).

    We only use new servers :)

    Yeah as the netvirtue rep has said. I have been also looking at Digital Pacific's dedicated server offers since they are parent company of Crucial.com.au, which we are hosting with (and currently spent $1,000+ each month). The best CPU you can put into M610/M710 with DP is dual X5675, which is 5 years old & crappy single thread performance even comparing to an E3.
