  • good idea to travel through south america after the olympics? more tourists = jacked up prices? or no effect?

    • +1

Areas around Rio will be expensive just before, during and just after the Olympics.

South America is a very big place. Santiago, for example, is 3000km away from Rio. I doubt it will feel any impact whatsoever from the Games!

  • great prices, especially ex Hobart…..goes away and checks if there is Qantas Lounge in Santiago! :)

    • Yeah, good price for Hobart. I Was surprised by that.
      Much cheaper than Perth….. 😏

    • They usually direct pax to the AA lounge which is pretty much a dump, but with oneworld sapphire/emerald you'll also have access to the LATAM lounge which is excellent (and massive).

  • Chile would be soooo cool!

    • Might want to bring a jacket

      • lol.
I realised the pun after i posted it.

  • Whos keen for ziika virus?

  • How can I check prices to Buenos Aires as a monthly view to check cheapest?

  • The reciprocity fee to visit Chile is off putting.

    • good thing i have a passport from another country that doesn't have this fee ;)

    • +2

As it must be to all the tourists who have to "reciprocate" here

  • How long will this sale be active for?

    I need to request leave first…. :C

    • I would also like to know this @ OP

      • Ditto

    • Hi,

Sorry for the slow reply. I don't know when the sale will end. We just noticed cheap flights were available.

      • IWTF should surely know about the ITA.

The Fare Rules state: TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 17MAY 16 AND ON/BEFORE 07JUN 16.
