    good idea to travel through south america after the olympics? more tourists = jacked up prices? or no effect?

      Areas around Rio will be expensive just before, during and just after the Olympics.

      South America is a very big place. Santiago, for example, is 3000km away from Rio. I doubt it will feel any impact whatsoever from the Games!

      They usually direct pax to the AA lounge which is pretty much a dump, but with oneworld sapphire/emerald you'll also have access to the LATAM lounge which is excellent (and massive).

        The Fare Rules state: TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 17MAY 16 AND ON/BEFORE 07JUN 16.
