        It really depends on the store.

        I've been in HJ's where they have the coupons at the front desk and you can point to the deal you want.

        I've been in HJ's where I was berated for not printing it out, and that they would let me show the phone that time but next time I better have a voucher.

        yeah but i shouldn't have to. mcdonalds sells cheeseburgers without cheese, but they never put those burgers into any of their meals because burgers without cheese are as disliked as cancer for children

          Just accept that you need to ask for cheese and live with it. It's no big deal. I prefer onion rings to fries, but am not whinging that I specifically have to ask for them if I want my meal changed. If they catered to everyone's individual wants we'd have people here complaining about the number of pages they need to print out.

      Don't they let you add cheese? They should if they don't.

      Also, I get mine without cheese. If I have a quarter pounder with cheese or a cheeseburger (when there's a deal for cheeseburgers but not hamburgers) from McDonald's I have them without cheese too.
