  This isn't a deal. It has always been a 3-month trial, and every customer that has ever signed up to Apple Music has received the 3-month trial.
  There was even a huge media storm created by Taylor Swift, as Apple originally said they wouldn't pay artists during the 3-month free trial (Apple has since announced they would pay artists).
