    The pre-discounted prices are about 13-17% higher than other common retailers.
    eg. I5-6500 $329 at Futu; $272 - $288 on Static Ice

    The free shipping makes it more palatable but it's nowhere near a 20% saving.

      That's why I calculated the savings in absolute dollar amounts rather than relative percentages.

      Not a really such a 'amazing' deal but it's very, very rare to see bargains posted on current-gen CPUs and motherboards. They almost never go on sale, except when they are a special on Amazon.

    Do CPUs come with Heatsink&Fans these days? In particular, the i5-6500 CPU. If not, can anyone please recommend something? (am not overclocking).

      The majority of processors will have a stock heatsink.

      The only ones that do not come with heatsink/fan are the "K" unlocked cpus, mainly because they need beefier, and better heatsink solutions to overclock.
