Too true, I'm not letting fellow Ozbargainers miss out on this quality deal either :)

    • Elon Musk @ code conference :P

  • Was contemplating this last night for $199! Thanks mate.

    • Glad I could help. Now to decide on colour haha

      • I went with White and Cherry Red for myself. They're all quality colors though, it makes it so hard to choose! Thanks again.

Got really excited, thought it was 2 for $140 haha…if only.

    • Seconded!

  • Samsung UA55KU6000W or LG 55UH652T ?

    • +1

They are both 2016 models, I have never had a problem with a Samsung panel before so I'm a bit biased. Best to check them out in store and compare for yourself. The LG is marginally cheaper and more of that model have sold if thats a good indicator :)

I've had a lot of problems with Samsung but never any with LG, my tv is dying after 4 years, fridge has died twice and a top loader washing machine has been recalled.

      • I guess it's inconsistent quality - I've had a Samsung fridge since 2001 and it's still going strong

        • Yea no doubt, but a fault in every whitegood I've purchased from them is ultra rare?

  • thanks op. i had 2 of the original booms before my mate stole them, haha. it was annoying trying to pair them up, so i'm thinking about going with the megaboom this time around, anyone know how they compare?

    2 of these for $140.80 ? False advertising….

I was about to buy the samsung 48inch. It said 6 sold and more than 10 available. I refreshed and the listing has been pulled. Assholes. Wonder if it will show up at a more expensive price.

    • +2

yup was about to pull the trigger too…

      • Looks like it's back. At least it has the same price, photos and item number (50031108). But it doesn't actually specify the model or ANYTHING about what you are buying. So I'm a bit hesitant to buy it.

        • Aaand new listing is removed as well despite lots of stock. Hopefully this time it was done for a genuine reason (ie to fix up title to say which item you are buying). I guess we'll see when/if it comes back.

        • @fruxo:
No idea what they are doing. New listing again, and again it is missing the model number (but it's clearly the same TV). Maybe it's some automatic listing system give wrong. Maybe it will be sorted on Monday when an actual human realise what is going on. I'll just wait with buying it until they've sorted out whatever problems they are having.

    • they did it last time as well with GPS units, seems good guys seem to pull anything they don't have much margin to move in, it is very frustrating.

  • any experiences on how good this speaker is? :)

    • For $140, it's pretty good but sound wise JBL Charge 2+ is better according to reviews.

Having a group of friends that own just about every variation of these, I recommend you look for a deal on a JBL Flip 3, like here for $109

      http://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/jbl-flip3-splashproo…

Sounds better than even the megaboom IMHO, great usability and very good battery life and construction.

      • How's the waterproof of flip 3 comparing with BOOM 2? Really want one for outdoor usage, i.e. boating, camping

      • do you know if the inbuilt mic for using as Bluetooth speaker phone for phone calls is any good on the JBL FLIP 3 (work don't provide me with Bluetooth in the work truck, even though i make a lot of work related calls whilst on the road)i don't wanna get a dedicated Bluetooth if i can avoid it.

        JBL Flip 3 - Black, Red, Blue - $98 @ Harvey Norman

      • thanks guys :) shall wait for a good deal for the flip 3 then, had my eye on it already then this deal popped up which made me unsure!

        • See post above

  • I already own a UE Boom 1 and got the UE Boom 2 so I can pair them and play in stereo.

Unfortunately this does NOT work in stereo mode. Only in mono. (you need two of the same models for it to work in stereo)

Massive deal breaker for me, I am going to have to return it. :(

    • That sucks, I thought Logitech would have cross-compatability on the UE line.
