  • Seems reasonable. It is all you can eat up to the value of $25?

  • NOM NOM NOM

    Wish I was in Melbourne!

Just be weary that d'lish fish is always BUSY BUSY BUSY there always seems to be long wait times when we go.
also, the 25 dollars of fish and chips that you get will be comparable to what 10 dollars can buy you at your local. It's expensive there (from memory anyway).

    Edit:
maybe i'm slightly wrong, it is slightly more expensive but upon research, you can get 2 lunch packs:

    Lunch Pack $12.50
1 Fillet of Flake or Barramundi, 4 Calamari Rings,
1 Prawn Cutlet and Minimum Chips.

    will bring you to 25.

    • Maybe the price doesn't justify the quality as you would expect the best fish and chips for what they charge ;)

  • damn, mighty fine menu

    $25 worth of flakes kthx

  • Nice deal if you live or work around Port Melbourne. It's not the most cheap fish and chippy but the food is OK and they have some nice salads in tubs too. It's near the Spirit Of Tasmania dock so the prices sort of reflect that. I think the pack deals are the best way to go.

  • Is there any bad stories or complaints on scoopon so far?

    • look in the forums. I think there was a guy who didn't get his voucher for a restaurant, but he said he got charged.

    • Used two scoopons so far. No complaints from me. Everything was fine.

    • I have used a few and have not had a problem at all!!

    • Same as zhenjie, used the Bluetrain scoopon so far. Worked a charm.

  • This statement on their website kind of scares me:

D’lish Fish in Port Melbourne is now under new management. We have changed the menu and now use only the finest & freshest ingredients, priding ourselves on the quality of our food. At D’Lish Fish we have a wide variety of seafood packs, with regualr specials featuring a wide selection of seafood, fresh fish, shellfish and more from the Bay Area, Pacific Ocean and other regions around Australia, Phone orders are welcome, please telephone (03) 9646 0660.

So, what did they serve before?
New management is never good in the food business.
Means something was wrong and a change was needed.

It used to be owned by Rex Hunt?

      • Yeh, maybe he just wanted to get out of the business.

        • To be honest under Rex's ownership it was really hit and miss. I've had calamari that even the seagulls wouldn't eat at times.

          • @elguapo: Ownership means nothing if you're not at the business or keeping a close eye

        • I'm paying money, the girl's happy, she's got no money, I got my rocks off, how good is this?

  • Didn't really think they were anything special last time I went there. Guess under new management means "See what the new guys are like!!".

  • Does anyone know the opening hours of D'Lish?
