Original eBay 20% off The Good Guys/KG Electronic deal post

Thanks to dindong555 for his post, I found this other bargain. I was about to buy this yesterday at Officeworks, but then I realised the cashback offer is not valid for Officeworks purchases. So glad I waited!

Great deal if you are after an A3 printer for small office. Use Click and Collect to save on shipping.

$423 at Harvey Norman before cashback.

    Gained in value over 12months

    • That was a convoluted deal for those with an Amex card, but yeah I suppose it has been cheaper. I see you bought one, how is it? Do you use a CISS or generic inks?

      • too complicated for you?

        1. signup amex;
        2. barter at HN;
        3. pay with amex
        4. submit brother cashback

        is the above better?

        INK

        (I cheaped out- not CISS)

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4-compatible-refillable-XL-cartriā€¦

        enough ink to last for a long time

        I had only refilled them for the first time after 12months

        **although a larger unit; my total spend for ink, refillable xl and printer was about $155 + $32 + $92

        i couldn't find a laser colour A3 option i could justify paying for

        • Thanks for the info

        • I have a rihac ciss. It's good but sometimes fiddly as the pipes get air bubbles and I need to use syringe.

          My father just got this printer. I'm thinking to get him the XL cartridges instead

        • I have similar XXL cartridges with mine, but the pin you insert instead of the ink cover which needs to come off is painfully difficult to position right. The printer will not print without it or the ink cover inserted.

  • May i suggest the empty version of XL?
    MirAus ink is far superior and similar to Brother.

    The prefilled in runs/ slightly smudges when i put a highlighter over it.

    No problem with highlighter for ink from MIR-AUS.

    (I got default print settings on high settings bc ink is cheap… and quality is that bit better)

  • ***i got negative?
    O well

  • I was looking for A3 double sided scanner last year and this seemed to work for that and have waited price reduction since then thanks op

  • sorry pls remove
