Has anyone done a warranty replacement for the pyrex lids? I have the ones with the red seals and valve on the lid and the clear plastic is all cracking from just microwave use
If you bought it from DJ's just bring it back to them, should simplify the process for you.
Is chip part of the warranty?
I don't know Pyrex's warranty but if it is covered then you'll be fine, however if its not then depending on how you bring it up the staff might help you.
Glad you asked. Same problem, rang Pyrex, they sent a new one no questions asked.
Called them today. The distributor here is worldkitchen. Had to send them pics. Looks like they will send the new equivalent as they don't make those ones anymore.
I remember reading the warranty on these things. They 'life time' warranty only covers the lid, and not the actual glass. That's pretty stupid IMO.
From my experience, it is usually the lids that are prone to failing. Glass generally are pretty good unless you decide to drop them, or smash them against the wall.
