  • Under 1K so you can claim almost $100 back via TRS

    • +3

You can claim TRS on phone over $1000 as well. We got wifey phone from these guys for $1299 and claimed TRS successfully. Had to email ausluck to get the invoice sent to us though

    • $300 and above you can claims via trs as long as the item gst inclusive

I WOULD LIKE TO CALL AN ADMIN ATTENTION
Trs should only be claimed if the good won't be "used" or consumed in AUSTRALIA. It's wrong to be taking advantage of others income tax money to get your goods cheaper. Ofcourse unless the good is leaving the country.

        • OK, who called the fun police

        • Stop being a sook. Theres nothing wrong with claiming TRS. Its even peddled by the government so that there is spending in Australia. And there is no connection of TRS and income tax. the government wears the cost of this.

        • +2

You must be "fun" to hang out with…

        • -1

It's just wrong from a taxation lawyers point of view. Up to you I don't really care how low you go to save cash but I don't think taking advantage of FALSE GST claims is ethical. All the best ciao

          @Neilgero:

        • -1

Where do you think the government gets most of it's money fromm? This is just what an educated taxation lawyer will tell you. AUSTRALIA SPENDS MORE THAN WHAT IT GENERATES (IE WHY THE BUDGET) I don't care what you do, I just don't think this should be encouraged unless the goods are taken outside. I bought 2 tech articles worth over 1k in the last month and have a trip overseas on the weekend. Although I could claim a fake gst refund I won't because I rather not lie to the tax office for 200 bucks lol

          @Neilgero:

@John: read the law man, why does this gets you mad?! I am just telling you the truth, but yeha if you are desperate go ahead lol make those "claims " you think you are entitled to.

        • +2

@martriv: Mad? Who's mad? Sounds to me like you are…. Plus, there's nothing wrong with claiming for items under 1k even if its getting used in Australia. That's the law. And LOL for calling "admin" attention for this.. what do you really expect the admin to do?

The iPhone 7 is coming out in 4-5 months.

    • +2

      Base model $1500?

      • +1

likely the same starting price as the current lineup i hope

        • +2

apple normally keep same pricing lineup and make previous generation cheaper

        • Unless they revise the (Apple $USD-$AUD) exchange rate lower [likely].

      • $1500 for base model about right.. cables and power adaptors extra $$

  • Great price for local stock iPhone. Got one. Thanks for the post.

  • Sold out ! iphone 6S 64gb SPace Grey … probably missed it by 1 minute as I was just reading to make sure … refreshed and it was sold out ! Lame

    • hopefuly they get more stock of the space grey…

could buy the silver. which is a bit boring

  • +2

Thanks OP, bought one 6s plus!

  • -2

What is the catch, 64gb 6s plus is $1,229 at Apple store and the link has 16gb for that price.

    • Are you sure you are looking at 6s plus prices at apple store? I just checked and to me its showing it for $1379 and 16gb for $1229. Apple store Link for 64 gb

  • +2

    still using iphone 4.

as much as I love iPhone, I reckon the iphone 6 line price has inflated too much.

    • they rip us off too much here in Australia … its supposed to be USD650 + Tax

    • +1

No surprises there. AUD to USD was highest in recorded history when the iPhone 4 was released.

  • -1

beware these deals are only 8% off not 20, over inflated price to begin with, should be banned.

  • So Apple watch is $499 at the Apple Store and these mobs are selling it for $549 (before discount). Not an appealing deal (at least not for Watches) IMHO

    • yep… Esp with AW2 rumours floating around. Not a bargain at all.

  • +1

would have loved the 6S Plus 64GB, but that went quickly. Had to settle for 16GB space grey. I suppose that's what cloud services are for. Still happy with that for local stock.

    • +1

I got a 6S plus 16gb 3 months old for $500 last weekend off gumtree, about what they are worth now.

      • Mint?

        • Pretty close, screen perfect had a glass protector, couple of marks on top and bottom, apple leather case covers them. Was going to re sell but gave my son my SE and kept it.

        • double

        • tripple

        • @Robster33:

          ULTRAKILL!! ;)

Sounds like you got a deal. Closest I saw was this doozy for 650 with a cracked screen

          http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/eumundi/iphone/iphone-6s-plus…

Or this locked to iCloud (aka stolen) for 500

          http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/booker-bay/iphone/apple-iphon…

        • @Robster33: I'm guessing that it has a sticky enter key though. :)

        • +2

@BargainKen: You have to check regular, sometimes people will sell cheap others want stupid prices, depends how much they need the cash. I have bought a few off Gumtree to keep or on sell, you have to check serial no and if iCloud locked first, this one she wiped while i was on my way and i checked it from my SE when i got there. This one was a tough buy she was stuffing me around wouldn't give address or phone no wanted to meet outside a pub and talk only by GT message system, so told her to forget it ( happens on GT), so next morning i opened another account and offered her $100 less and she took it and met at a friends lol.

        • @Maloo: haha that was my 27" iMac keyboard ;)

  • Thanks OP. Just got one iphone 6 plus 128MB in gold. Wanted rose gold but oh well.

    • +6

I knew they are still onto sort of obsolete 16gb 'smart'phones. But 128MB is plain cruel mate :P

  • Thanks OP. Snagged a 6s 64gb for wife after a failed attempt at converting her to the g4. Cant go wrong after TRS…well inn terms of apple pricing.

  • Does trs only work before you leave overseas? If purchased whilst overseas that doesn't make it valid?

    • As long as you have an Australian receipt with ABN and GST listed, you should be fine.
Note that you need to claim it within 60 days of purchase whilst going overseas.

      • Ok thanks. I am 1 week into a 2 week trip in new Zealand. If I buy from a seller off eBay from overseas that would be valid?

        • You need to show the item, and a valid GST receipt when leaving Australia. Maybe on your next trip out.

  • +1

Grabbed the last silver 6S 128GB for mum who was about to pay $1529 at the Apple store :-)

    Thanks OP!

  • Ausluck is not an authorised Apple reseller. Will this be an issue for warranty?

    • +1

Nope. My wife phone i bought from these guys had a issue with phone switching off after 1 week, took it to apple shop and got a brand new phone straight away. We checked phone IMEI as soon as we activated it and it showed with valid Australian warranty

      • Cool. Thanks

  • What did they have 2 of each model available.. Should call themselves noluck,

  • if you are still interested in this deal, they do update the listings with new stock every now and then. I just grab a 64gb 6s rose gold today.

  • +1

For those that missed this deal, I got officeworks no hesitation at all they price matched Ausluck.com.au website price iPhone 6s 128gb came to $1120.05, only $20 more then Ausluck eBay sale, peace of mind it's from officeworks

    • How'd it come to $1120? 5% off $1249 is $1186.
