  • What the investment rate with & without offset?

    • Hi aaronbaron,

3.99% up to $750,000 with offset. Best thing to do is fill out the online form and a specialist will contact you to discuss what options are available to you. http://www.reduceloans.com.au/investor-loans/investor-rate-b…

      • This link and your homepage aren't loading for me - I am overseas so it might have something to do with that?

        Just a heads up.

        • Thanks for the heads up.

Our IT is looking into it, do you mind me asking what country you're in? everything seems to be working here.

          Thanks again.

        • @jjkateam: UAE but confirm it is working from my mobile - must be a problem on my side.

          Thanks!

  • How about 10% LVR?

    • Hi @joshmachine

We do have higher LVR solutions. Your best bet is to speak to one of our Home Loan specialists, fill out the online form or give us a call.

      Thanks.

  • That seems cheap. What's the catch?

    • No catch, all the info you need is on our website or you can give us a call on 1300 REDUCE (733 823).

      Cheers.

Application Fee, Valuation Fee, Legal fee, Settlement fee = $1164

These fees are pretty cheap when you compare them to other lenders but I prefer it when reps posting deals list their fees in the post rather than make us all look at the site

    • Thanks @heal.

You're right I probably should have posted them, however with the fees basically being on par with other lenders I didn't think it was needed. I'll remember for next time.

      Cheers.

I've never paid over $250 in fees across 5 lenders in 16 years?

        • How? Conveyancing is going to be a $40-$800 for settlement alone, then valuations are a $60 minimum assuming you know a guy. Application fee's are negotiable, but legal's & other associated costs are going to be extra, too. $1165 for all those things is fantastic value, if it's all included and capped at that.

        • @infinite:
I didn't see any mention of conveyancing in that list? (which would be charged independently from the mortgage broker)

  • Looks like this is not suitable for investors - what is the best investor loan you have?

My current rate is close to 4.1%

I contacted them through their chat feature on their website and was told someone would call. No call.

Waited a week and contacted them through contact us. A rep rang and i was at work and they said we'll call you at an agreed time. They never called. Very odd, not going to waste my time a third time.

      give them the finger

      • +4

        I did lol

Sorry to hear about your experience, I would love to try and get to the bottom of it so we can make sure it doesn't happen again. If you wouldn't mind sending through a quick email to [email protected] just outlining who you spoke to etc. And if you would like us to see how we can help you leave your contact details and I'll have one of the sales managers contact you.

      Cheers.

  • Hi,

You guys advertise yourselves as a "Home Loan Company", but don't state if you are a lender or just a mortgage broker. If a broker, can you advise you the lender is that your actually getting the loan from? Also, what are the actual qualifications your assigned "personal finance managers" have?

I see you guys have awards splashed all over the advertising on your website, but I cant find any links to your company having won them. Other companies from the UK are listed as winners. Could you provide a link to where those awards were actually given?

    • +1

Ask them how many staff they employ :p

    • Hi,

There are links and the awards themselves click through to the awards page. Our finance managers have a range of qualifications, I can tell you they all exceed the minimum expectations set by the industry bodies. I don't know what you mean by 'Other companies from the UK are listed as winners'

      Cheers.

  • I may not understand this fully, but how can the variable and the comparison rates be the same when there are application, valuation, legal and settlement fees?
