i have seen this bag in person and its not worth $28. It very thin and flimsy. would not last long in my opinion. i don't think its even worth $14.

        • +1

Getting mixed opinions on that in here. D:

          | i don't think its even worth $14

Maybe you should try these (than just seeing) and conclude its worth.

This for sure is not worth $28 (googled similar bags for similar prices). I USE one of and I am very happy for the price. There is zip at the side of this bag and that's where the laptop goes in. No need to open your main (conventional) bag zip to put laptop. That saves lot of effort. So definitely worth the price.

Can confirm .. I bought two last time and both of them ripped in half totally shocked because they feel nice but stitching is horrendous after 4 days with less then 500gms in it fell apart, I was so disappointed .. TWICE!!!

  • No Vic?

      VIC yes, no Melbourne.

I went in to see these last time they were on sale. Poor quality and do not look like they would last. I think they were around the same price Last time, maybe ten bucks and I didn't bother

    • +3

I have one of these and it is very decent quality. However no locations have stock for pickup so with the postage cost, it is not a bargain price.

    • +4

I bought one the last time it was on sale. I've been very happy with the build quality. Definitely head and shoulders above dollar store backpacks, I reckon.

  • Yeah sucks that it is not available in most CBD stores. Picked one up last time. Really good one!

FYI, I've found that having a strap across the front of the chest makes a huge difference - stops neck and shoulder pain. YMMV. This one probably doesn't have that strap.

I found another deal on Centrecom for the Targus bag for anyone else who can only pay shipping for the Harvey Norman one but wants a cheaper price(in-store only):
        http://www.centrecom.com.au/targus-156-intellect-laptop-back…

Also another link for the Toshiba bag $25 for those who would rather pickup and I think it has more stock because I found a couple of stores near me that had some, it's just 5 cents more than what I paid for online + shipping:

Thanks mate. I brought it too fast. It is good, I will consider to buy one. It is so hard to find a bag that you love. The one I love no longer make :( - Nike BA4322 008

@Jacku: Don't let it bother you man, I order on Tuesday and it came Friday morning so shipping should relatively fast depending on where you are, beats wasting time going to the store to buy it

          @IcarusTyphoon:

Indeed. While $15 buck is bit expensive, but it is better than going out stuck in traffic.

In stock at Wagga Wagga, but click and collect not available at that store. So the staff can't just walk to the shelf?

    • Neither can you?

      • I live over 50km away. Not worth the drive if I can't click and collect to guarantee it'll be there waiting for me.

        • Call them and ask them to put it aside for you?

  • those NSW location really suck…

  • i can vouch for the quality of this bag.
i got one last time and going strong..

not very big, and was a sudden change and it took time to get used to this..

  • Very small bag this one, if you have big frame looks pretty silly on. Also quality is poor for a branded bag.

  • We got a bunch of these last time. Wifey loved it

  • Bought it last time, still use it. Great bag

  • +1

I bought this last time around, and honestly even at this price it's debatable if it's worth buying- too small to pack anything significant, and fairly poor build. Put in some more money and buy a more substantial bag

this looks like a better buy today.

  • Really happy with the Targus bag I picked up in April @ HN for $13. Been taking it to work using it to carry water in. Sits outside all day in a citrus orchard and I wear it riding to work about 18km each day. Comfortable and well made.

  • Had it price matched at Jb hifi
