    Credit cards aren't mentioned anywhere:

4th ride free terms: To be eligible for this offer, customers must be invited and apply via the promotional landing page by 31 August 2016 and, open a new Westpac Choice account and register their new linked Westpac Debit MasterCard as their payment option on their Uber account. Westpac will cover up to $25 for every 4th Uber ride paid for using the new Westpac Debit MasterCard card until 31 December 2016 ("Offer Period").

Op is just kind enough to put a separate link to the debit card. For credit card link, click on the one by Op,s user name.

    New customers only?

Looks like it's for new accounts\cards only, and the only credit cards it applies to is the Altitude and Altitude Platinum - not the Altitude Black or the Low Rate\Low Fee cards.

New customers only? F@ck you westpac!!

F@ck you too hippy scum! :p

And Westpac, f@ck them as well!

      Yeaaaahhhhh!

  • Would this apply to Uber rides internationally? Have a US trip coming up… might be handy.

  • Invitation only… such a shame.

  • Think I'll pass; someone called Ronald in Brisbane stole my Westpac credit card details for three Uber trips (amongst other various purchases)…

Perfect time to get your fourth ride for free! :D

Hahaha maybe! Uber won't tell me anything apart from the fact that it was Ronald in Brisbane. They also bought stuff from Officeworks and attempted to use it for Foodora and Vodafone and quite a number of other things (McDonald's was not one of those things :P)

          Well he wasn't the Hamburglar.

  • Well damn, I got my hopes up for a second.

Three trips of 100m. Fourth trip gets me home. Bargain!

  • What's $25 buy in uber world?

    • From Brisbane to Sydney

      • +3

In the boot or on the roof?

  • About 10-12Km; it's a good deal.

You need to be invited to apply to get the promotion. New Accounts only. If I'm not a westpac customer currently how exactly are they going to invite me?

Also, if you need to apply using the linked landing page, would that mean you don't get the 50k bonus QF/Altitude points on offer by applying for a card directly through through Westpac's website?

  • So has anybody attempted this yet? The terms say that I will be notified when a promo code is available; I have taken 3 rides after having linked the card, using the card for each. No sign of any discount codes yet….
