Great price for the LG, but 10 units??? Gonna be a lot of disappointment real quick there…

    NETGEAR R8500 Nighthawk X8 AC5300 MU-MIMO Tri-Band WiFi Router for $599.00 - Get 20% off (max $1000) with code CTEC20 = 479.20 delivered. So I wouldn't consider it a deal.

  • I'm Looking for a modem that can use my android phone hotspot for internet and usb ports for a printer.
Ultimately I would like an IPad be able to tunnel into the modem for 1. Internet connection. 2. printing from the printer.
Can this modem or ANY modem do this?

    • ASUS ac68u

    • First question: are you sure you want to use your mobile hotspot? It might be a very expensive way to access internet (just saying). Your iPad can already use your hotspot anyway using the WiFi and regarding the printer, just buy a very cheap wireless printer and you don't even need more than a powerpoint to make it work.

      • Our Internet at work is horrendously slow, it takes anywhere from 3 seconds to 2 minutes (no joke) to load a page. so the option was to either connect the current laser printer to a modem or as you said buy a cheap wifi laser printer.

      • just buy a very cheap wireless printer

Since IOS doesn't support Wi-Fi Direct, user would need to manually change from hotspot to wireless printer's AP. Might as well buy cheapest AP with USB printer support for existing (USB) printer and change to mentioned AP to print.

A more robust solution: buying a wireless client-to-Ethernet adaptor (to be used as a WAN gateway toward hotspot) and then setting up multiple WAN gateways on router+AP by biasing Administration Distance (to prefer the mentioned adaptor over modem) then user would only need to connect to AP of the router+AP. (Unlikely candidate for above adaptor is New Zealand's AirConsole, although it still doesn't support WPA Enterprise.)

Shopping Express has Epic Hour every week.

Is there something that makes this one worth an individual post?

    • +1

      Because they're different items?

It's like saying Coles and Woolworths have specials each week, why do they need an individual post?

    The ASUS F555UJ-XO106T 15.6" Core i7 Notebook Win 10 Home comes with a crappy screen (1366 x 768).

This laptop from another seller for $995 comes with bonus Windows office 365.

    So it's no real bargain!

  • These muppets are sending out emails with the r9 390 in it when they have no stock. ACC might want a word with them

    • Must admit I was a bit curious to see zero available stock but I assume first come best dressed and we just missed out.

  • bring back the HP Microserver deal……like $199+free shipping!! :-)

Avoid Netgear. Hopeless firmware support - slow, incredibly buggy, total lack of testing/QC. If you have any sort of issue their self proclaimed "tech support experts" will feed you canned dialogue without bothering to read/understand your issue.

    How is this sufficient stock?
